  1. Someone advocating an independent Yorkshire is not exactly going to give a balanced view.Lol, the BBC have been quite balanced in their reporting? As the rest of the Union get no vote in their future I think the BBC should have stayed completely out of it and ignored the whole thing instead of acting like a swam of fly's around a fresh turd.
  2. Someone advocating an independent Yorkshire is not exactly going to give a balanced view. Anyway it will all be revealed tomorrow. Personally I would prefer either a yes vote or a landslide no vote. If Salmon was to lose by only a knats we will never hear the end of it.
  3. It's had a lot of ware also. Ear and mustache shows flattening, are we sure it's a proof.
  4. So the sellar indicate that is has been dispatched and when the buyer enquires to say they haven't received the item the seller refunds the money and cuts their loses.
  5. The No campain have lost this by trying to talk sense to the voter. You can talk as much sense as you like but it won't make a jot of difference. This vote is going to be won by hearts not heads.
  6. I collect Farthing to Crown 1900 to 1967 so I guess I collect Half Pennies.
  7. Probably not as much as they should but I doubt if they get off scot free. Anyway Salmon will just up the oil output to make up any shortfall...wait a minute he doesn't own any oil it's owner by the comanies that extract it. All that he gets, and the UK government for that matter, is the tax on the oil companies. And the production level is set by international agreement anyway. Also if production was increased the price would go down, set by the spot market, and the gross tax would likely not change.
  8. According to the news this morning the Royal Bank of Scotland is considdering moving to Engand if there is a yes vote.
  9. Stirling is just a name, and a city in Scotland. Hong Kong have $ on their notes but that doesn't mean it has any connection with the US dollar. As with any contract it's the small print that counts.
  10. The bottom one is backed by the Bank of England the top one isn't. It's backed by a dodgy bank that is all in but name bankrupt and owned by the British tax payer who could walk away anytime they want.
  11. As Alex Salmon says, Currency; don't worry about it we'll sort it out afterwards. Pensions; don't worry about it we'll sort it out afterwards. Finances; don't worry about it we'll sort it out afterwards. Healthcare; don't worry about it we'll sort it out afterwards. Everthing; don't worry about it we'll sort it out afterwards. Oh and I wish to apologise for all the English politians in Scotland at the moment. I don't recall us asking them to go, it's so embarrassing. But then when did the politians ever represent the will of the people.
  12. Anyone with existing citizenship of the UK will presumably retain it. You can't just remove citizenship without due cause, such as being a terrorist etc, so grandfather rights would apply here. However, anyone trading in their passport for a Scottish one should not expect the same rights, though I suspect the same policy as that applies to Irish citizens would be the realistic position. Whether Scottish only passport holders would be allowed to serve with the UK's armed forces though is another matter.UK gov is actively limiting non EU imigration to apease the masses. Scotland would become a non EU country. You have the choice, are you Scottish or are you English. We allow dual nationality but how many scot would want a hated English passport. So the scots would be in the position of needing a visa or work permit to remain here. And that goes for any scots currently living in mainland Europe. How come suddenly that England is Britain, your statement of your either Scottish or English, tell me what happened to the other 2 countries in the Union? Your statement should have read, you're either Irish, Welsh or English should it not? Do you think England is the UK, this is the problem in a nutshell with you English types. Your other statement of throwing Scots out of England is another belter, what about throwing the immigrants out also, or those who are of any given Race other than English presboterian, you should go and invade a small country, you'd make a good dictatorNI is a province and Wales is a principality so England will be the only country left in the Union hense only England can issue passports. And as for the politicians they are all the same only interested in their own well being. The only reason Miliband is showing any interest is because he's going to lose a few MPs and make it even harder to get in again. If the boot was on the other foot do you think we would here anything from him other than anything that is detrimenal to the conservatives. Oh and Britain, more correctly Great Britain is a geographical area not political. Scotland will be ever part of Great Britain until it's towed out into the Alantic Ocean.

  14. I'm putting all my money into razor wire and security fencing. Will it mean that all of the die hard scots in England will have to become english citizens or move north of the boarder?
  15. A big problem I see in this is what happens to the value of your finest known when a better one comes along, as it surely will.
  16. I've got one. It's excellent value and packs away very neatly indeed for storage or transport. The camera stand is ok, if a little bit lightweight, but ok for compact cameras. The lights are halogen, so be careful where you place them relative to the light tent and how you handle them once you're done. However, you can buy replacement bulbs (LED etc) that do the job and don't get anywhere near as hot. I thought my lights were going to catch fire as they started to smoke after about half a minute. I replaced them with fluorescents but now not getting anywhere near enough light.
  17. Have you asked him as it could be worth a try. I would suggest someone in the UK buy it then repost it to you but with the £8 UK postage and whatever it would cost to ship to Oz it might get a bit expensive.
  18. I slabbed a coin to sell and I don't think it made a jot of difference to what I got. So overall not impressed with the hype.
  19. You need one of these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DIGITAL-CAMERA-COPY-STAND-/291233675847?pt=UK_Photography_Shooting_Tables_Light_Tents&hash=item43cee13a47
  20. "Cost: £265 per boat inclusive of free, introductory membership of The Coracle Society" Only the Scots could make "free" and "£265" work in the same sentence I wonder how many members they have with no boat. I'll justa hav the free membership sunny.
  21. Apparrently the new Scottish navy will move in and more than compensate for the lost jobs. Also all the new navy ships will be built on the Clide so there will be more jobs not less.
  22. They do a 1933 along with the 1952 Half Crown, Now the Half Crown apart from being a proof is very very good. Bye the way this is the first time I've heard of them being atributed to Pobjoy, not sure about that.
  23. How do you read a comic that is slabbed. Full white pages, how does he know and can he prove it. I'd want to look before I bought.
  24. Deleted
  25. The only way it will change is if people stop using ebay in big numbers. The average man in the street who only sell the odd bits and peices will be happy just to shilft it for a small return, better than throwing it away. It's the traders that can really hurt ebay if they start leaving in droves.
