  1. The odds haven't changed much since the debate, Trump at 4/1 to 5/1 to win with most bookies
  2. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/GREAT-BRITAIN-George-III-Halfcrown-1818-COIN-COPY/689412762.html
  3. No bids on auction starting at £79, now relisted as an auction starting at £100 ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-UNDATED-20P-COIN-GENUINE-MULE-MINT-ERROR-/182314378297?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
  4. This is a very ignorant question I'm sure, but why are we exporting $45 B of petroleum and importing $62 B of petroleum? What is the point of that? Couldn't we just import the difference, around $17 B? Is it about different grades?
  5. Nothing special value-wise but nice to look at, Spink Patina series fantasy William IV Crown in copper (25.0g)
  6. And no mention of CGS on the new listing. I found another like this, where the seller had added a CGS grade, but it had not passed through CGS. I messaged the seller who said it was an error and took it off. The same may have happened here, or he didn't like the price it went for. Deserves to get some very poor feedback from you. Liar.
  7. Not only that, the coin is not slabbed, misleading at the very least to describe it as CGS 70!
  8. Not to mention the Rothchilds
  9. Gasp! (at the price!) link

A very warm welcome to the Forum Isaiah
  11. From Pennycrowncoins MBE? (a member on here )
  12. Maybe it's shilling, got out of control?
  13. Did you get compensation for this theft in the end Dave?
  14. You too mate, visit more often!
  15. Have you been at the cider Stu lol?
  16. Interesting debate this! One question then is if post-strike, why? And there are many other examples, so not unique to this coin. I guess I am just fascinated by the 17th century, always have been!
  17. No that was in response to Rob's point on weight reduction
  18. We maybe don't use the Members Only section as much as we should
  19. Post Mint you think, I'm very surprised! Given the frequency of examples of this, logic suggests lines created at the mint by the machinery, or to reduce the weight of the blanks, I would have thought
  20. I have no doubt as to authenticity either, I don't think that has been raised! And yes the topic is just about the lines, as Rob points out they are prevelant on Briot coins
  21. So all those recent comments are yours Stu? OK! Definitely in the pre-strike camp myself, but still open to suggestions!
  22. Very wise! 3 different Coinery user names now! If it helps , the weight of my coin is exactly 6.0 g
