  1. yea the trident is differant, it usualy is in the beads, but it defo has beads i always check the 1860 1863 1875 1876 1879(inc shilling) 1889 shillings 1895 1897 1908 1909 1922 and 1926 :/ found a few bargains in there
  2. if that was a couple of quid cheaper i would be tempted
  3. nope a nice error, wish something like that would turn up for me
  4. i thought there were a few known, i'll keep my eye out
  5. 1908 3B (well near enough without having cyrrilic) 40.009 minted $10 F 25 VF
  6. also depends on the mint etc. russian market is boyant
  7. never knew some of those varietys existed. any on the 1860-1900?
  8. in fair, but glaringly obvious none the less
  9. i offer £1 for 3 of em but yea pictures
  10. and a fantastic reverse as well. i got a normal 2 normal 1918's one with great obverse one with great reverse, i was expecting to see similar, my good reverse one seems to have dye cracks as well.
  11. yes, and if i can clean up the mess around the lettering of my 1694 farthing to see if it is indeed unbarred A's in britannia i know it has one, but if i can find out if the other is 100% then i will be in a similar boat but yea these raritys do turn up, i always check the worn buns just in case there is a rare paring, a missing letter or extra letter or number i got an 1879 narrow date off ebay for 1.99 (no one bidded on it O.o) and a similar situation with my 1875H 5H pennys for a few quid (3 1912h and 1 1918h in average, with the 1875H) surprised sometimes how this happens, both are obvious, and both were missed. so expain thse bags, are they a random selection given out or what?
  12. i got this one, i like it
  13. and we are still missing at least 1 number as well
  14. tone can be any colour, it depends on reaction, silver has a full rainbow of colour, so not a biggie on that was it buried for a time? that usualy causes a green colour
  15. oh interesting, would be nice to see all the article for everything
  16. o gawd 1911 pennys... dont get me started on 1860 and 61
  17. i dont see why they needed to test the dies, australia and new zealand were using the same obverse
  18. more rubbish to clutter up ebay
  19. BIGEARVS for our sanity and common sence he should be charles
  20. i only have a non-ME but with good detail as you can see the B.M. isn't that well struck your best bet is to compare with a 1927
  21. only issue i have with the BM checking is.. it isn't always very clear
  22. didnt prussia have a 2 headed eagle too? it is BIG EARS (charles (charles III?)) then william (william V?) then his first son (or eldest daughter)
  23. ghosting happened even with the small head i think it was on halfpennys and farthings as well. so ME is either R3 or R4 :/ and i dont see 1897 high tide being R14 i can see there being more then 500 of those i like the imperial portrait
  24. i have 2 1988's 2008's arms design is lower mintage, i sucked a few of those out of curculation instantly
