how scarce is the 1968 halfpenny?

there must be something effecting the coin for it to change sound, has to be a planchet error i got some nice filled die errors if anyone wants to see those, but for now. clipped planchet penny i also have another witch has the beginning of one (planchet thins at one end) now that is a planchet crack

i bought a bulk buy for a george IV halfpenny... it had a holed JH silver coin in.... it was an 1888 groat, thats a gap filler. cos those are scarce as.

yea the trident is differant, it usualy is in the beads, but it defo has beads i always check the 1860 1863 1875 1876 1879(inc shilling) 1889 shillings 1895 1897 1908 1909 1922 and 1926 :/ found a few bargains in there

and a fantastic reverse as well. i got a normal 2 normal 1918's one with great obverse one with great reverse, i was expecting to see similar, my good reverse one seems to have dye cracks as well.

yes, and if i can clean up the mess around the lettering of my 1694 farthing to see if it is indeed unbarred A's in britannia i know it has one, but if i can find out if the other is 100% then i will be in a similar boat but yea these raritys do turn up, i always check the worn buns just in case there is a rare paring, a missing letter or extra letter or number i got an 1879 narrow date off ebay for 1.99 (no one bidded on it O.o) and a similar situation with my 1875H 5H pennys for a few quid (3 1912h and 1 1918h in average, with the 1875H) surprised sometimes how this happens, both are obvious, and both were missed. so expain thse bags, are they a random selection given out or what?

tone can be any colour, it depends on reaction, silver has a full rainbow of colour, so not a biggie on that was it buried for a time? that usualy causes a green colour
