  1. no i dont, but that cross design is something i cant find.
  2. i prefer that design though. i want that set. is it me or does that large soverign coin look sort of bland due to the empty space
  3. i'm stumped, the obverse design is a key with something going across it
  4. i thought the brass 3D design was differant that looks like a fantastic set, shame farthing looks ugly in terms of toning the 3D and 6D look deco though, which fits the period
  5. would take some doing to fake that toning though, blimey
  6. i'll give you 41p the pair
  7. i'm guessing fully UNC coins with little contact from anything would still be, i like the toning though to me it shows the coin is genuine
  8. that portrait is horrid, it really is.
  9. yes i know, but when you want just an example of a coin, i mean we getting very nice george V half crowns falling into BV.
  10. only problems i have is the damned silver price.
  11. they used to have those machines in blackpool, then they replaced them with a ride there is some of those old machines in some shooping place off the M61 too or there was when i last went years ago, dunno if they are still there. right. my most valuable coin cost me a whole ten pence and i got a fair few scarce varietys for under £3
  12. depends on what is around and available. i have found some great things for hardly any money.
  13. not all had the wedge
  14. tin farthings as they always had the plug. they should count really. or the charles I farthings where they used other metals to fill in chips etc. ever seen these euros? copper band round the outside of the brass area. tri-mettalic
  15. lucky i only paied a tenner for my corroded mess of a tin farthing of james II.
  16. 21.01 i gots i wish to see one of these as well. so i can look out for them.
  17. they have had those marks before, the 2008's especially, the quality of strike was sub par as well. i got a darwin one. for 3 million minting figure it has taken this long to find any? the 2012 one will probably commeorate 20 years since the resizing of the 10p or 1 year since last year or something.
  18. i cant see it on the picture, it is very very hard to spot even with a magnifier. requires particular angles to see the slight change in brown.
  19. i have a VF 1922 penny, it could be a dot, all that is left a slightly differant coloured mark there, so it is either just one of those things, or it does indeed wear very quickly
  20. it is legal to copy up to 4 pages though
  21. and after them i wouldn't mind seeing these either.
  22. but it is still a 1771 farthing. i might keep an eye on that.
  23. ooh look, lots of worn viccie pennies. bet they are all sorted >.>
  24. yea, that Suffragette one will sell. i have one that looks like trench art. obverse is worn down a lot, but reverse is a hand carved house.
