  1. or for the mint to keep track of how many were made?
  2. looking at them, i'm sure i have the first 2, but i dont see that much differance except a slight differance in the last 8 also the variant one has a flatter bottom on the 1st 8.
  3. we already had date spreads for OH pennies, so i don't get why this is odd, thats is all.
  4. o great.... something else to look for
  5. some of the 1860 variaties are rare, and should be worth lots, but most people don't list each type.
  6. thats a new one on me seen 1 over lower 1 on the first 1, as well as the well known 1 over higher 1. this one is new to me.
  7. 1933 wasn't offical currency either. and i was refering to in that grade. can have my satin 19 in low grade for 1249.99
  8. I can probably get hold of mid grade 1895 YH farthing. you might get lucky with variaties, but not the 1860 copper, we all want one, very few of us have anything as rare. try Ebay for the pre 1806, plenty of William III around for nex to nothing, and the variaties, you can get lucky.
  9. O.O doesn't matter how rare a coin is, nothing post 1860 is worth that, and there are fair few rarer things.
  10. ahh yes those old Micros, we got 2 people on this site with sites just about farthings, and i got a couple not listed on those 1 is a variaty of another (1773) and 1 of those "maybes" I own as well
  11. you don't have to push the boat out far, you can find vare 1860-61 in lots of junk pennies if you know what to look for. my star penny cost less then a quid. your best bet is to look for known variaties, in a series you like or jot a few down and visit places and check ebay, depending on the books the dealers use you can get rare ones for the common ones price. there are so many, and we are talking Copper and Bronze? it is a wide area.
  12. looks like a to me as well, but that blob is sort of key. and yea George I and II overdates are very clear remember this one?
  13. looks like planchet, there are faint cracks coming off it. bit expensive for a holed coin though.
  14. i got this oddity that isn't there lookslike a late die, FID. and DEF : very weak, probaly not what you are looking for but.
  15. never find much in newly listed BIN the BIN is where most of it should be.
  16. 1875H there, and 1870 are usualy a bit more then usual
  17. I like the second one.
  18. if you are unsure i got a fridge to put them in
  19. ahh yes the denga standard design for the year if i recall.
  20. love that wide 6, it might be of interest though, being clear.
  21. I would have a good look at them first though, holed or otherwise might be a few rares in the earlier stuff.
  22. trench art post 1967?
  23. don't think i'll get those for 0.99p + P&P
