  2. it has all gone a bit french so lets start with an Ivan IV kopeck, or to give his better known name, the terrible and a malteaser...... Order of Malta one grano to give its proper name
  3. I have the bronze one with the 3 ladies (gracies?), just too much of a nice design to not own.
  4. record I have had is 3 months, that was when items were lost in the post then the seller claims off the post office.
  5. there are little specks in most of the letters if you look.
  6. it is swiss, you can see the CO
  7. its in the letters
  8. if you are going to make a coin die... at least put the As and V's on the correct side >.> and a regional coronation medal (and yes I know exactly where)
  9. 1739 farthing no stop on reverse and a centime
  10. so they can't have the Pound, they can't have the EU... and we can stop them having the queen...
  11. some dies were never used, I dont think I have ever seen an unlettered 1862 with die letter B (L.C.W. in the middle, under britannia) for example
  12. plus the cleaning cant have helped. and it took me ages to find the 1968 issue, they are quite hard.
  13. grr can people not spell LUSTRE anymore. and advertising on ebay.... just why
  14. not recent recent, but I said i would show it when i uploaded the picture
  15. ahh yes there it is, couldn't make out the bottom part, looked seperate. got to get me one of those
  16. I cant really see the A, looks like a rock to me
  17. but again, why was he carrying them around?
  18. there is also a weakness in strike on the opposite side to the clip sometimes. cant always see it on every coin though this is one I got recently, probably someone in 1753 got this, and lobbed it into the thames (where it was found) no way anyone could mess with it, and if you look in the opposite areas you can see slightly elongated teeth on the obverse and some lines on the reverse on the opposite side.
  19. it happens not common at all but hard to say exactly.
  20. why the hell are you lugging those around with you? and tescos have things called cash machines
  21. this is the nearest I have got... o well
  22. as i said, it is simple, it is obverse 1, not obverse 2, Obverse 2 being the one used on the the ones with date in legend, there is one on colin cookes collection page. only 2 known... getting familliar... got it off ebay a fair few months back, LISTED as the mule as well, wasn't expensive. just put this here and a farthing 1679.
  23. nothing to do with stops. it is 1699 though
