  1. You will miss the neckless £2
  2. I tend to search particular denominations and dates. It shouldn't effect me. I sometimes do a sweep through early milled and hammered (hammered have cost me a bit over the years).I still do a sweep of my favoured dealers a few times a week.
  3. We buy the butchers bacon and compared to ASDA is cheaper and a fraction of the white fat.
  4. I've had a few results at a local antique centre. trouble is I go for a look at the coins and often come home with clutter.
  5. I worked in a butchers when at school. My sausages were gorgeous and contained no ears, snout or gums. I do reckon the value sausages are a bit dodgy.

  14. That is a huge menu.
  15. No! 'Most collectable' is a tough one because what people collect is subjective. Rarest is probably that Olympic swimmer 50p with the lines on the face that was withdrawn, or was just the Royal Mint being sloppy. As the public aren't aware of it though, it's not generally collected like the dateless 20p was. It was mentioned in Coin News but the press haven't picked it up.The Olympic 50p's are also being tucked away.(Even my mother keeps them)
  16. Hi Chris Good to see you How did the house renting scenario go? What are you collecting nowadays? I can remember you getting some nice Roman Gold. When is the next CCGB coming out? When are you going back to 1672? etc etc.
  17. I will start this one off with the obvious undated 20p. However a £15 coin until the press picked up on it to £300 and now back to £40.I reckon a £40 coin to 2050.Nice investment....not. My 2nd choice would be the Olympic 50p's which are all fairly rare.Trouble is everyone is collecting them.
  18. What a coin I wonder if he would swap for a genuine 1967 1/2d and a genuine plastic 2" envelope(used)
  19. An advert Hi I'm 6ft tall and 13 stone in weight. I have brown wavy hair and a defined body. I;m a successful company director and put a lot of effort into childrens charities. I have a good sense of humour and have been blessed (W/E) Actually I don;t want to meet anyone.I just love to describe myself.

  21. Right here we go About 5 years ago I was at Lockdales table at the midland having a chat. They put about 100 coins in a tray at £10 each.I picked up a gothic 1853 florin.nvf I couldn't live with it...uneven toning etc so sold for £25 on ebay. After dipping it made £80.00 Who is the prat here? Unless complete novices or respected dealers...I wonder (I feel worried for Paulus)
  22. I've sold to him nice UNTOUCHED coins which appear on Ebay. 2 months later....dipped and mugs buy them.
  23. I do find it annoying when a seller lists a coin with a value of £10 and states no reserve....considering £50 is the lowest reserve.
  24. The 51 crown is by far the nicest cupro crown. I have been buying a few.I got one today which is mirror like
  25. 4 options All feedback feedback from buyers feedback from sellers feedback left for others. I would line up his buyers (and tom) Get a nice 10 lb cod and give their chops a nice slapping.
