  1. You misundertand Pete when he says "typical ebay seller". Rougly translated it means people who aren't sufficiently concise about their ebay dealings and who don't frequent this fine establishment
  2. For anyone hunting down commemorative figures, they're here .. https://www.royalmint.com/discover/uk-coins/circulation-coin-mintage-figures/ Oddly not attached to the "other" mintage figures.
  3. it has good instructions but you need to be a bit techy. I'll convert them all to laymans terms when I get some time, it will be scary but it isn't actually hard.
  4. Here's a useful link http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+do+I+stop+videos+from+playing+automatically+in+Firefox%3F #DontKillMe
  5. For that, look for a content blocker and then check out how to stop the videos even loading
  6. Mozilla realised that their signing check in the new update invalidated pretty much every addon for 48 hours, so thay applied a fix sometime about 2pm GMT yesterday. I realised how much I hate the internet without Adblock
  7. I'd stab at something like a campania nomos or didrachm, but really not my speciality. Welcome to the forum, you are in the right place
  8. I'd go with the quadrums too, I think for coins you want to handle they're the best option. If you look on ebay, pay attention to the pack size. Some are for a 10 pack @ £6.95, other people have packs of 6, 5 or even 2 for that money.
  9. Yep thats the same answer I got, although they do publish the sets and commemorative figures occasionally.. perhaps they'll be up soon. (hence grab some more sets before they skyrocket lol )
  10. 2017 £2 coin and 20p coin - these do exist in annual sets, so the mintage was >0 but no further clues available on how many sets were issued. Grab a bargain while you can
  11. The 1992 is no longer a circulation coin as it is a "large 50p", although to me that explanation doesn't stand up very well. I actually blame media hype instead .. and people looking for a quick buck.
  12. for me to get better at geography ?
  13. I need to sort through Paddy'sfor any lesser known varieties before they go to the penny paradise in the sky. Mine should all be fair game though
  14. I wonder if they need another 5kg of them.....
  15. These aren't in an annual sets, any cash-cow editions are always presented after the annual set has been released, ensuring further revenue for the mint.
  16. Really... no-one? April fools day. Suckers.
  17. Oh, but the majority of voters do want it. It's the majority of remainers who don't want it, but they number less than those of us who voted to leave.
  18. I wonder what day it was yesterday...
  19. Crikey, that looks as rough as a stucco bathtub already! Which one is it?
  20. I'd bet theres a few more features than just self-likeness among the many coin designs - with today's affordable microscopes I imagine more things will suface when people get to looking. I know in that job I'd certainly try to get the odd thing past quality control
  21. Me too? because it seems to me, it's either the remainer 'me and mine' or their brethren peers, and not the country who voted who are getting the say on this.
