  1. Beautiful film, take a hanky, you might want to wipe away a tear.
  2. It certainly makes you doubt their professionalism
  3. This photo is from their website, resident coin specialist Ken Payne, perhaps grading a coin? sorry Ken
  4. The Cromwell Crown piece sold at Heritage on Jan 12, 2004 for: $13,800.00 (£11,000 in real money at the time). When taking the obverse dings into account it may seem steep, for some, at today's prices. After taking another look, I think that the reverse saves it, beautiful!
  5. 🤔why not model it in 3D, divide it up and number each piece and allocate a specific numbered piece of the coin to each buyer?. Then the concept of fractional ownership might have some meaning to a collector, i dont know. I also wonder about the second hand market. It might be worth a punt in the short term. Shares will be on ebay for double the price or more before you know it. Not really my cuppa tho’

  10. 1689 4d, Obv. GVLIELM (V/inverted A) S ?? Rev. Unbarred A in REGINA
  11. oops, i missed it. Ill be more vigilant in future.
  12. must it be traditional or modern? can it not be judged without categorisation? Personally speaking, I think it looks mass produced and lacking any character so it leaves me stone cold, …. its bullion and i’d only pay spot for it.
  13. Tell me you’re joking
  14. https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/tooveys/catalogue-id-srtoo10334/lot-77b30d5e-4fda-4d67-8e02-ae1601389015?utm_source=auction-alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=auction-alert&utm_content=lot-image-link Heres a contemporary cast copy for 300-500 which tbh is an extortionate estimate imo. Nevertheless, its a good copy.
