  1. Master JD and coke (): You should be ok if you adjust the filters to search in all forums and messages from all users.
  2. Yes, I think generally they will rise (according to Spink), 10% could well be the average for UNC coins, perhaps more for really sought after coins in top grades and perhaps more than 5% for the difficult F-EF coins too.
  3. Let me know when you want to sell it, and please do post a scan Oli.
  4. Don't be such a killjoy, I know that, and even if William had refered to it too, it looked impressive.
  5. Keep up the good work William, perhaps I'll have to make you an 'Expert Member' one day if you persistantly give good advice/info like that!
  6. Well strictly speaking Northern Ireland is not British, it is part of the United Kingdom, but not part of Great Britain. So what about the Isle of Wight, isle of Sheppey and Scilly Isles etc? I think if you're going to call them British you can't exclude the Ch Islands.
  7. CYB2004 says £7.00 for the non proof coin. It doesn't state a mintage. Isn't there a link to a very good Jersey site in the forum somewhere? ( I would have let this go in the British section, you can't really call Jersey non British)
  8. Yes, and it's actually supposed to be the Duke of Cumberland on the horse!
  9. The 'To Hanover counters' are more accurately refered to as 'Cumberland Jacks' as they depict the Duke of Cumberland. They were never intended to be Sovereign fakes and have never really fallen into the forgery catagory. I doubt also the the Halfpenny is worth much in that condition.
  10. What, more key changes than a boy band? Surely not!
  11. Yes, that's right. Well, at least that's how i've always said it, and no one has ever laughed or looked at me strange.
  12. As if it has no 'ue' on the end is what's generally accepted.
  13. They're a superb investment according to the seller! What a load of poo. I have over 400 of them, so I don't need any more.
  14. Looks like a forgery to me. Not sure if it's an American one or British, but it looks too worn to be highly desireable.
  15. Yes, i'm sure, I'm getting old, keep repeating things.
  16. Sarah, come back! PM Sylvester, I'll get my suit ready!
  17. And the 2003 GB coronation Jubilee Crown looks like it was done by a 6 year old.
  18. I walked past Manchester Piccadily once looking for somewhere that sold flowers to give to that attractive Mancunian girl I once mentioned I even ventured inside at about 7.30pm!
  19. Jim, I don't have a banner for the forum, i've never promoted the forum on its own, I found it grew pretty well without too much effort. I do have a banner for the website in general though, I'll attach it below. You could take that and point it to the main URL or I'm sure I could adapt it if you'd rather link directly to the forum? Actually that one is out of date already, because at one stage I was considering doing something with world coins, but have found that British ones alone keep me very busy. Thanks,
  20. Yes I've seen those, they're quite awful too aren't they.
  21. I have no idea, perhaps he's a chiropodist.
