Ten years later, I got this White Whale! DIdn't at first even know it existed but here it is. Now if I can only find the stablemate 1984 FM Specimen Set!

Don't get hung up about the number of years. Just my bad maths. It was 40 years payments followed by 30 years accumulating value. As has been said there was a life assurance element, which helped. Even so, we were very surprised at the final surrender value.1 point

It’s absolutely a B over R, if this isn’t one then none are! It is the diagonal of the R that shows within the lower loop of the B and extends outside the loop to meet the R, exactly the features described in Gouby and now Freeman. Jerry1 point

This is an inteersting point that my wife had the advantage of recently. Her dad took out an insurance policy on her as a baby in 1947 paying just 2d a week. This continued until around 1988, when payments ceased. When we went to cash it in some 30 years later, we thought it might be worth £50 or so. Imagine the surprise to find its value had risen over 60 years to about £1700 or so.1 point

I'll check it out like an EAGLE eye HAWK If it's nice, I'll be RAVEN about it. I'm just BATS about them. I might have to DUCK if it flies overhead though.. The price would have to be fair to you however, inasmuch as I would not want to be ROBIN you. Just as I would not want it to be overpriced, as I am not some PIGEON waiting to be plucked like some CHICKEN.1 point
