  8. My point is actually that in blondies early days to much was concentrated on debbies looks , when they made the comeback around 15 or so years later the drugs and just life in general had taken a bit of a toll , it also seems to be unkinder to the female of the species and the lead singer in any group prob gets the most attention with the bass player the least. In the blondie music catalogue is some of the best late seventies and early eighties music ever , the rap song and heart of glass are among the best songs ever , but also there is some real dross or filler material in there as well . they are still a great band and it was lovely to see them

  11. Age is just a state of mind. Though the limbs have aged I feel exactly the same as I did they day I left school. Well perhaps a little wiser and a lot less patient lols

  12. Before my time then. Being a kid in Leigh i used to go in a small arcade / shop all the time that was owned by Gary mcneish who is Petes brother so the Buzzcocks were my first band about forty years ago.

  13. This is by what I have seen one of the best 1921 Penny struck. I looked at the LCA and the finest graded by them at 85 pales into insignificance against this Coin. I would imagine this was one of the first coins to be struck. Fantastic strike. I have never seen George with so much hair. Almost a teen-wolf look and not a hint of streakiness. reverse complete strike just gorgeous. It will go in the safe place for sure Richard
