Could I have you expert help please.

I have a George 2nd 1731 halfcrown with the regnal date QVINTO. The "Q" appears to be on its side, is this normal or common for this coin? See pics.

The tail of the Q is to the left and not on the right

Yes tail of Q is on left but the shape of the Q is elongated in the horizontal position.

I will try and pot better pis.

To be fair, even though I am not familiar with the series, it does look like a sideways Q.

That worked fine. It's definitely a Q on its side, but I don't know if that's normal for the year or not.
