It is a nice coin though! Quote

VickySilver Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 OK, what do all think a fair price for this 1844 - 500-600 USD maybe? Quote

I think the valuation would be 550-700 someplace. The coin has some circulation marks, and some small stains on the reverse, but is still a rare coin in that condition. IMHO...Ha,Ha Quote

VickySilver Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Nice strike to be sure but quite a few contact marks and a rim hit on reverse of some note...BTW, closed at 425 USD.. Edited June 8, 2014 by VickySilver Quote
Colin G. Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I had been watching a few of these, but got sidetracked with some DIY at the weekend, so completely forgot about them...... That 1844 was definitely better than VF but a few knocks and bumps. Quote
