Sorry Dan, I was only lolling because the 1933 is mega rare, if you are trying to get a complete date run you might have to accept that that year will always be a gap!

There are plenty of penny collectors on here (I am not one of them), you should be able to fill most of the other gaps relatively easily (depending on the grade you are after!)

What sort of grades are you looking for too? I could pull out most of those dates for you quite easily from bags of worn pennies, in EF upwards though it's a much smaller number.

I would say as close to fine or better. It is just a small hobby that my daughter wanted to start and its something we can do together.

If you rationalise the list a bit, you will find you don't want too many. The following are either non-existent or for practical purposes unobtainable:

1960-54, 1952, 1943-41, 1933, 1925-23.

That leaves you needing only 10 pieces from the 20th century - 1903, 1909, 1912, 1926, 1930, 1946, 1950, 1951, 1953 & 1961. In low grade, 1926, 50 & 51 will be the most difficult, the others most of us could pull out of a bag in fine.

You are a wag Peck, shame they didn't make the film 'Carry On Collecting' ... a perfect opportunity for Peter to contribute?

I'd love to see that film! Peter as Sid James, definitely. I'm not even going to try and guess who Hattie Jacques would be...

I notice that you don't mention any of the H mintmarked varieties...

Are you just doing a date run, or are you filling holes in a whitman or other album?

Just asking so I know what to look for...

Yes.. I was trying to edit the list but i am not sure how,. I am looking for the 1918 and 1919 H and KN also

I have 2 folders from 1902-1947(1902-1929 & 1926-1967).These include the H and KN,1950,1951 and 1953.The conditions vary from fine to unc.The unc being the latter years. The 50,51 & 53 are all about EF.The folders are not immaculate but in one piece.I also have the folder 1881-1902.Conditions vary from clear date to EF.I have no idea of the total value of these and appreciate that without photos it would be difficult to give one,but if any of you honorable gents can give me an idea,I would be more than pleased and sell them on to our Canadian friend.

And it's the only thing you've ever picked up, Sid.
