Hello Chris, just purchased your ePub book, but cannot open it with Safari or through the GDS iPad app. I sent you a PM with my order information. Please email it to me.

Thanks

I'm still awaiting mine from Amazon.

Got mine, but the 1840 two-prong might need updating already! What a price for a raggy coin that barely makes VF overall! £130

Ps the forum still isn't displaying correctly on safari, and I don't have edit buttons!

The coin wasn't bad but the obverse put me off.

However it is rare coin and if you want one there is a waiting list.

Cheap to what the penny boys pay for absolute skank coins.

If it's the one with the toothed border penny, it's a steal! :) :) Edited by Accumulator

Hahaha - yes, that's on my wish list, along with a 1954 penny, 1920 2nd obverse, and maybe a 1933 (though they are common compared with those others  )

Uhh, I think there may only be one 1933 that would even be remotely available so would have to rate it similarly to the 1954 penny.

This is a great book !

Been using it (along with the grading book which also seems excellent) to value a lot of 30 farthings I scored on eBay.

But is the value for the 1925 farthing a misprint given the mintage compared to others of the 20's?

The good news for me is the farthings were poorly photographed and looks like I got a bargain.

Cheers Garrett

I think the same applies to the 'bright' 1918? I've always considered that - along with the 1919 - as relatively common, so £20/£30 in Unc seems a tad over-optimistic : the £10/£15 of the other dates seems more like it?

Hey Chris, You forgot to price the 1845, 46 and 49 by the market! I would love to buy some for the prices shown! LOL! Just got my book (USA) yesterday.

I wouldn't worry too much.

You'd expect a few 'buggers' here and there in a book like that.

A collector would be mad to spend a fortune on a coin based on information from a single source.

It's a good book, I like it. Seems easier to navigate than Spink, the prices on the couple of coins I've looked at so far seem more realistic, and I had a third point but I've forgotten (oh hang on I remember - had a farthing variety that Spink didn't list).

cheers Garrett.

BTW Chris, I was referring to pennies, with the 1845, 46, and 49 designations! I like the look of the new book. It is the best reference to carry with you at a show, etc.
