Very nice indeed Bob. Better than the one sold last week at DNW!

You must have a really nice Victorian copper collection now. Your 1860/59 is stunning. Do you have any gaps still to fill?

Peter,

It's odd you should mention the lottery. After I found the 1849, I did try my luck on the lottery, but I'm sorry to say, I didn't win anything! Ha,Ha!

Accumulator,

I have most of the Victorians except the following:

F14 1860 Sig under foot

F8/F9 1860 Mules

F45/46/47, +5 below date, 1863

Of the above, the one I would really like to find is the F14. If anyone has one to sell... I am interested!

I can't help you with any of those, Bob. I might have a spare F2, but you've obviously got one of those already? :D

I was actually referring to the Copper pennies, presumably you now have virtually all in EF+? You'll have to get the photos up.

I need to see an F14 to find one ;)

my Numbers never come up, getting 1 on the lottery is rarer then the F14

I bought this recently (after too many Speckled hens)

I shall aim at a few BU common dates Viva Declan. :)

Right about the too many. What was the attraction? I hate to think how many I would need to drink to pluck up the courage and purchase that one.

My one is so worn I like to upgrade...even the horrible pennies. ;)

I would like to get a top 69(wouldn't we all chaps  )

The 71 was an example and I can get rid of the existing.

Hey. That's a perfectly acceptable grade for a rare date. Mine isn't much better, if at all. We're not all stinking rich, you know!

Speckled Hen or no, I think that's a perfectly good example for the date. When I dealt I had no end of 1864's ranging from poor to VG+ - they were all snapped up. So an 1871 in Fine is not to be sneezed at. If I could afford a GVF or better example, I'd buy one.

I am. I'm loaded. I've got nearly £60.

I've got more monney than sense, I'm up to about 86p now.

Let's see. 86p = 17/2 in old money. Er, 17 times 12 (rushes for his computer calculator) = 204, plus 2 equals 206 old pennies. That must cover just about every variety of bronze penny known - but how many are EF or better?? :D

This one of those situations where I find the red felt in the bottom of the tray recess quite aesthetically pleasing. :) Anyway, I have an example of a bun head young features penny, so I'm sorted. Just the Minton required.

dealer got a massive load of "junk" in a massive lot, had a look through the pennies, found a 1893/2 (95% sure anyway)

1860 penny 4+N (satin 14)

Unless it's Unc, I'd say the 5% wins. It is almost impossible to spot, even on an Unc specimen. Probably why it was unrecorded/unspotted for so long.
