Wow! There's definitely one for Richard here. Look at all that mint lustre!!!

He's got the grade about right though, wonder why the rest of it is ALL overgraded

People who buy hammered know that BU/UNC would be impossible to justify, but milled comes up in those grades regularly. People see what they want to believe in the case of the latter.

Even for a Charlie that is a £20 coin....MAX.

I can't even imagine for a second yhat TG would part with even £10 for that one. Unless of course he's in the Christmas spirit and fancying a bit of 'the ghost of Carolvs past'? :)

dos = disk operating system...LOL!

Or as it now better known "definitely obsolete system" ;)

Posted

what dos this mean please?

just a translation of the second word will do :D

dos is an old Microsoft operating system.

Correction - someone else's OS which Microsoft bought cheap, tweaked ever so slightly (changed the name), sold as MS DOS and never looked back (or forward much, either) :D

I see Mr Platt and his mate are at it again, the one with the 9032 FB

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=121033458798

I'd be a bit suspicious of the 565 bidder too:

£55.55

£77.77

£111.11

£122.22

He had a 'choice uncirculated' for sale the other day, which was a right bloody laugh! Actually I should put this in Paulus' room 101, because I absolutely hate the word 'choice' being used inappropriately!

I really want to be impressed when I see a 'choice' coin!

A 'choice' coin is one that's bought by a 'prize' idiot
