picked up a couple, seems to be hard to find George V with a nice obverse, do any of them look cleaned ?

What is that marking in the right hand recess?  First one looks ok 2nd one looks like it could of had a wipe over Hard to tell from pics.

dunno runs in a line across the coin, looks like tyre tracks lol

A 100 year old coin still bright that hasn't been cleaned in some way unlikely. Perhaps the question should be how carefully  was it cleaned?

Perhaps worth pointing out that the majority of pre-1920 halfcrowns turn up in that condition? (Average is GF - GVF). This is because so many were put aside when the silver content was reduced to 50% in 1920.

I always like the half crown. Perhaps because my pocket money was increased from one shilling to 2/6d in 1964. That was a lot of money for a kid in those days.

Anyway, I have five George V half crowns. This is perhaps the nicest:

Thanks. Not the greatest of photos as it was taken through the slab. 

As you know, it is not my main area of interest. But sometimes a (affordable) coin comes along that is too nice not to buy.
