Paulus Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) GVF/NEF for me Edited November 15, 2015 by Paulus Quote
SWANNY Posted November 15, 2015 Author Posted November 15, 2015 Would you put its value around £60 ? Quote
Paulus Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 More like £30-£40 (based on my opinion of the grade). They are easy to find in EF and better ... Quote
Paulus Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Others may contradict me / have a different opinion! I just checked on eBay - there are 26 for sale right now at various grades, and with extreme variation in price/seller's grades! Quote
jelida Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 another mistake Never a mistake, but a 'learning experience'. And you would always get most of the money back 'on the Bay', but anyway its a nice looking coin, why worry? It is so difficult to tell from photos, may look great in the hand. Like that lovely Gothic Crown of yours; there is clearly very little expert agreement on this forum with the thoughts of one individual at CGS. Don't be disheartened! Not like the two and a half grand I spent repairing the daughters car last summer, only for her to sell it for £600 two weeks later because she 'didn't trust it'! AARGH........Still, at least I've married her off now!Jerry Quote
azda Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) If the eye has wear it would be in the GVF range, as there appears to be no wear on the eye I would say at least EF and £60 is ok for it. Edited November 15, 2015 by azda Quote

1949threepence Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I'd agree with GVF/NEF for the first and plain Fine for the second. Quote

SWANNY Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 I was hoping the second coin to get F+ , but its all about personal likes and the size of the wallet How much would the second coins price be if in a VF grade ? , I want one..... Quote
Paulus Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) This is mine. Purchased from a forum member over 3 years ago for £275, and graded by the seller and by CGS as NVFPrices haven't moved much for this grade, so I suggest £300-£350 for VF?Do run it by the forum if you find one that takes your fancy (there's plenty about ) Edited November 16, 2015 by Paulus 1 Quote
