As you may know I am a beginner and I did not know this until around a week ago (thanks to this forum )
Both books I have that came recommended to me, CCGB and David Groom Bronze Coinage do not mention that the '34 is a mint toned coin. (I will be getting the new Freeman book when it is out)
I am not knocking the seller whatsoever. They have a fantastic feedback rating of 100%.
My gripe is regarding photos in general and the "cover all" statements of "look for yourself" etc. that is very common on most ebay auctions.
If you are selling a coin at least show a decent photo that resemble the actual colour/tone, call it what you will, of coin for sale. I know a little about photography (I am no expert by any means) but at least my own photos look like the coins I have. Read up about things like lighting and white balance to suit the lighting you have etc etc.
As an example take a look at the Copthorne Collection photos on Colin Cooke site and then take a look at the Vendors photos on his site.
