Once you hit 200 posts Nons, your editing time dramatically increases
  2. Haha! No you're OK, I did tick a box. It wasn't very descriptive though so I wasn't sure if it was the right one.. Glad it worked!
  3. Hi Richard, I do get them. Can you see them now?

Hi Liam, Welcome to the forum! Look forward to seeing your pictures, what do you collect??
  5. If you're not logged in it'll still let you post, it just assumes you're unregistered. The majority of other things it won't let you do however.
  6. Not so great on the iphone..
  7. It's probably going to go for melt, which right now is about £180-190 for a sovereign
  8. I must have clicked something then sorry. And yeah, I reckon.... double what it was worth before
  9. My other comment about measuring the diameter seems to have disappeared
  10. It's a sovereign then, instead of a half sov
  11. Very nice setup. This is the problem I have too (work, not the kids) and our street is fairly narrow so there's only a couple of hours when I get 'great' light for taking photos. So it's not necessary to use a macro lens, just turning up the macro settings with a normal lens?
  12. OK worked it out. It looks like if you try and post in the same thread without leaving first, it thinks you're doing one post (lord knows why). If you leave the thread and go back in, you can upload again and again.
  13. As far as I can see, it's still per post? For example, MancFrank and NonMortus' threads have lots of pictures posted in since the upgrade, I'm sure that combined they exceed 500kb, but they still seem to be able to post more pictures in those threads. Can you not post more in the photography thread since adding those 2 photos then?
  14. A very nice first coin Good find too, most finds like this turn out to be tokens, as Peter said.
  15. Yes a really nice improvement on the colour as Rob says. Are you also using the daylight bulbs Paulus mentioned? Also the reason for the @ is because it gives you a notification to say someone has mentioned you, to save missing the post if it is directed towards you (like I did when bagerap posted).
  16. I was watching this one that ended about a week ago, but it looked an awful lot like the original one Accumulator posted so I didn't bid on it. It sold for £37.80 in the end..
  17. I'm not too sure Cliff, it looks OK on my laptop though! (seperate posts)
  18. I added a ‘Members’ section to the ‘Browse’ menu and lowered the search flood control limit a little for the regular posters so it's a bit quicker now. With regards to the last post when you click on a thread with new posts that you haven’t seen, it seems like a known bug, other forums have built their own workarounds for this but there isn’t quick and easy fix
  19. thank you kind sir. I'll look through some of the other things in new forum thread while I'm waiting for the second session of the snooker masters finals to come on
  20. I think it's done now, I just liked your previous post have a look and let me know
  21. Yeah I was looking for that at the moment because that was a useful function before. If I can I will change it I will, in the meantime if you visit your own profile page when you get a like it shows who made the like.
  22. No worries! it's good practice trying to sort something out as opposed to just mindlessly browsing the functions.
  23. All the Numismatic Research Group members have 2 hours to edit.
  24. Nope, he's got no qualms about it. The new guys have 10 minutes to edit now, that should be plenty?
  25. Yeah sorry for the confusing Mike that was my fault, I slightly hijacked your thread for a moment back there!
