  1. I use Chrome myself! What I do is open my image up on the computer, using Microsoft Paint, which usually displays the picture massively on the screen. I then click on 'resize' which opens a box. I check the box is saying 'percentage' then change the 100% figure to say 20% and click OK. It will then show the image smaller on the screen. If it's still too large, or small, I just 'undo' and try a different percentage until I like the display size on the screen. It's then just a case of 'save as' and I generally just put the percentage size at the end of the image title. Don't just click 'save' or you will reduce your lovely big image forever. OK, then I save that image to photobucket, click on the IMG link which will give you something like this to paste However, what I always do then, is to remove the highlight bits in red, as otherwise people can click on your image and be directed to your entire photobucket folder, which may, or may not, be something you want to happen? Edit: well that didn't work! basically remove the bit from the end, and from the beginning!
  2. I'm amazed that there are so many lovely tokens out there! What I mean by that is somebody has loved them from the very beginning, or they'd never have survived like that otherwise. Pretty, pretty!
  3. Not so sure? A couple of 1967 pennies did go astray following your visit to the boat!
  4. Hah! My post was a little tongue in cheek, Hazelman, we all know Declan on here. Really decent chap, just down the road from me! Comes highly recommended!
  5. 'Found it in my late grandads' What on earth was he doing looking in them? Sounds very messy!
  6. Definitely Davies & Groom! Welcome aboard, Hazelman!
  7. That sounds very intriguing, John! I'd go with what's been said above. If you do decide to go to a major auction, you could find some good deals on sellers' fees if the collection is interesting enough? Depending on what coins you have, and the condition, of course, various auctions could be suggested. Please don't clean or wipe ANY of them, thinking it'll make them look more appealing. Also, no bouncing them around...edge nicks and digs will loose you hundreds, maybe even thousands! Some pictures would be great!
  8. Yay, sussed it! Only just realised I've been browsing in 'private' mode which, apparently, doesn't retain sign-in info. It's a button on the bottom of the browser screen which I'd inadvertently hit without realising!
  9. I got myself all confused, I thought you'd actually bought this one!
  10. Indeed! A very nice change from a copper farthing!
  11. Sorryy, referring back to the nautilus!
  12. That IS a fantastic penny, by the way...what's it for sale at?
  13. Ptfffff! Fussy, that's what you are, TG, fussy! Is the farthing your's?
  14. You could probably buy 3 really nice H3 pennies for some of those 'harder' Charles shillings, TG? C'mon, you need diversifying during these times of XII drought...give us some more Charles I coppers, and some hammered pennies...you can do it? ?
  15. Brilliant! If you do journey into that pretty series, please share the journey here! I love those pennies...bloody 'ell, where do you draw the line? Someone should start a thread for each series of interest, rather than post a global title! So, 'Henry III Coinage,' get it started Damian! Oh, and the answer is YES!
  16. Everson 96b good start!
  17. Dozens of new mintmarks, have you got Tim's book?
  18. Hang on one God damn shenanigans moment! What's going on here? Actually, this would be a neat little sideline to your C1 shilling collection? New metal, and a great resource already accompanying it! Where else can you snipe such lovely old coins for a pittance? Look at my last purchase (the first ebay bid in a year) 141530485871 [top 2 in particular] a Caro over IACO, a [VS] pellet within annulet, and the bottom two aren't to be sniffed at either...£51! Come on TG get involved! We could between us all beat out that resource I was talking about?
  19. Interesting point, that!
