    Not necessarily. If Corbyn makes for a softer Brexit, then leavers will blame him (and Labour) for the Customs Union which stops us negotiating trade deals. I can't imagine that many Labour supporters would be particularly happy to have helped the Tories get their flagship policy through the Commons.

    I am no expert, nor do I claim to be. I do not know whether the country will be richer or poorer and I don't care. Democracy means that whatever the people decides is what happens. If that can be overruled then we are little more than a banana republic.

    Except that every single major figure (on both sides) made it perfectly clear that a vote to leave meant leaving the Single Market and the Customs Union.

    There is absolutely no way that a FTA is going to be agreed in under 18 months. Therefore the backstop will apply and will continue to apply. All TM's deal will achieve is to remove the advantages are both remaining and leaving.

    The reason why Remainers keep quiet about it, is because even with the "overspend", which was ratified by the Electoral Commission at the time, Remain spent 40% more than Leave and still lost. And that's even before you count the £9m for the government's Remain leaflet.

    Of course it doesn't. You might remember, I think they mentioned it a few hundred thousand times or so, it was about taking back control of our money, our laws and our borders. Staying in the Customs Union gives away control of our trade policy to the EU, so even tiny Malta will have more say over our trade policy than we will. We will get the Brexit we want, just not with this government.

    I supect that, if the result had gone the other way, Coinery would have a different opinion on snapshot views.

    That's the remain strategy in a nutshell: make the "deal" as bad as possible, so that either parliament or the people reject it and we end up staying. There is only one option that honours the result of the referendum and that is to leave on WTO terms but parliament has said it won't let that happen. Democracy has been well and truly thrown under the bus. Bring on the Brexit Party.

    Except that all of the URLs are predecimal.com. Wouldn't externally hosted pictures retain those 3rd party URLs?

    Not with the latest Survation poll (who were closest to predicting the last GE result). Lab 39%, Con 35%, LibDem 10%, UKIP 5%. Even the latest YouGov poll had the Conservatives down 5%.

    Indeed, and the subsequent General Election Manifesto (for those that bothered to read it) said that "No deal is better than a bad deal", but here we are with "Any deal is better than no deal". Fatten up your pets, Corbyn is coming.

    Irrespective of what happens in the next two weeks, this issue isn't going to go away. Either May's deal or no Brexit will have electoral consequences for the Conservative party. Therefore, you should prepare for a Corbyn government and that is going to be much worse than leaving on WTO terms.

    Press the Windows key + e to give you an explorer window, then make sure 'This PC' is expanded, all your drives will be listed below. Alternatively, just put a cd into the drive and a window should appear (or you will be given a choice of what happens next).
