  2. When i was doing my army recruit course there was a corporal there from the Irish rangers, he had the inside of his lip tattooed and also behind his ear. Then there was another guy who'd arrived with one, he explained that he had to drink a pint of brandy before getting his willy tattooed, no one believed him and so the trousers were off and sure enough he had 2 bars and a cherry like you'd see on the old fruit machines I was in Scotland last November and decided to get one on my arm of my sons name in Arabic, so as i was waiting i picked up a book of Japanese tattoos and these guys had the complete willy done including the tip, my eyes started to water and put the book down
  3. Broken tops in GEORGIVS as usual, but surely the price should have worried you, yet you still bidded obviously knowing there were fakes of these, so assuming you bidded to win a bargain, sorry, but it's just sheer stupidity on your part. I wouldn't touch any of these and especially so from ebay
  4. Grading week is the 20th Alan, need to be there just beforehand you can hand it into them at the Midland fair on the 12th if you're up that way, i have 17 in. An MS62 1849 sold on ebay for $3,010 in 2016and the attached is MS63
  5. Send it to LCGS (awaiting severe scolding from @mhcoins) you know i said that with tongue in cheek. I'm going to say EF, but a mushy looking shield and some carbon spotting around the trident area and some rubbing to the high points on the REV also
  6. There are several pennies in the next St James sale, catalogue landed yesterday, also picked up the Stewartby catalogue from Spink on Sunday
  7. If you don't see a realised price it means the coin never sold, they don't post "unsold" against a coin, they just don't post it at all
  8. And that's a bad thing why? lol
  9. Actually, it didn't sell. The one i was looking at was a sixpence, a late night and eyes half closed at the time of posting
  10. Can't believe that it hammered at £680
  11. Things take time, everything is a learning curve, just don't make expensive mistakes. Questions are always welcomed, answers come free.... Welcome to your new home, enjoy the ride, it can get bumpy
  12. Geezus, some people shouldn't be allowed on the internet let alone ebay......ok
  13. Unfortunately all the scratches are apparent to the naked eye and at that point it kills the coin and any thoughts of a £450 sale
  14. Must have been taken down as the number has nothing attached to it.
  15. Its a full sovereign
  16. No, you only get it with the older version, but it does come with 2 silicone airbags
  17. If both your pictures are a combined 501kb then you have to leave the thread and re-enter it, its a bug in the forum software thats been around far too long and should have really been rectified by now
  18. This coin has been flagged on NGC as a possible fake, he's also sold this previously but never sent it and the buyer is still waiting on his cash back, so also a possible hacked account, just a warning http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gold-1-4-oz-Panda-1982-NGC-MS68-First-Year-of-issue-/152453828214?hash=item237ef4ce76:g:a0sAAOSwTglYkGtq
  19. Just ordered it, the release date is June/July i believe, i was told July, but hopefully it will be June. My brother Bought a Seat Alambra and he also has a wait until the end of May, just have to keep my mind off it for now
  20. Its the new Ford Kuga ST LINE, updated version, much bigger boot space, the old one was quite small, it's now a decent size
  21. Spink normally gives orientation with arrow symbols next to the coins
  22. I'll probably slab this one though
  23. I could get it wrapped in taxi cream colour, it should save on a respray later
  24. You must have had a good night last night if you can't see that it's indeed a car
