  1. He said it was tarnish and was apparently absolutely worthless, his words not mine
  2. Thats all i've been selling too Clive, but they still want bloody for a pittance. I'm near done with ebay now for a while.
  3. Ahhhh but here's the clincher Clive. I don't need to deal with f*****g idiots at Spink, but i do on eBay. I'd Rather pay the spink fee and be stress and hassle free, unlikei have been in the last 2 weeks, and now i have another non payer, this time from sweden and a complete tosser who has verbally abused me via email because i failed to say a 1997 Britannia set had a small amount of lustre on it which i never seen as it was My buddy who took the pics, i was told i was a cnut (rearrange the letters) and then he left a negative and a dispute, the reason i did'nt refund was due to the abuse. Now, for a tenner, i'll take Spink anytime
  4. Its a 4 Reales justme
  5. The fact that a seller cannot give their opinion (negative) when a buyer bids then cannot be arsed to pay was the start of the downward spiral, couple this with their astronomical fees i assume its driven many people away. This is now i assume why they Started taking 10% from postage (which has absolutely nothing to so with ebay) because they have/are driving people away, and the more that leave, the more they're going to want from those that are left, and the vicious Circle will continue until eBay eventually bites its own arse
  6. I'm goimg to go with a 6 because i can see itthrough the centre of the 4 then loops round. The beginnimg of it curves in the opposite direction to be a 3, it starts like a 6 would. The quesrion is, why a 6 in 1740, this is also an unrecorded error as far as i can see So, what i was or am trying to say is for it to be a 3 it would have to curve from left to right, but this is curving right to left.
  7. Anyone else think the 4 in date is over a 6?
  8. Simple Solution, get a Mac
  9. Its only EF and therefor technically not a proof, its now a proof strike in EF and not worth £4500
  10. Seller is from Leeds, it explains it all. Why? Is Leeds full of molesters? And sheep. Baaaaaaah owwwwwww
  11. Seller is from Leeds, it explains it all. Nowt so queer as folk. Reminds me of time when a local group targetting minors had operated in the Blackburn/Burnley area and the local TV canvassed views of the event. One elevenpence halfpenny interviewed commented that there was too much paedofiddlia going on. so on that basis, maybe the pair need introducing to each other.I used to live 7 miles outside of Burnley, what a depressing area that is. I call it the Black hole of Calcutta, its a complete sh**hole but has a great R&B Festival
  12. Seller is from Leeds, it explains it all.
  13. And not one mention of the tooling http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHARLES-I-HALFCROWN-GROUP-V-UNDER-PARLIAMENT-400-/111298790197
  14. cant be right its got the scottish lion on it.............. Horrible design by the way! Scotland is'nt out of the Union......................YET
  15. Will Charles get to reign considering he's divorced and has married a commoner? My assumption is that if he does get the chance that he max pass it straight over to William
  16. I'll just say that i like it. An interesting design and Beats the boring round coin. I can forsee many errors with this design, in the recesses and on the edges, good old royal mint. It can also be said that the Queens head won't be on them too Long either, she's. to got many years left in her, so probably collectors will be stashing some of these.
  17. I was going to reply with we live in a democratice country and not a dictatorship, but i'll have to rethink that one
  18. To sign the petition, it is not necessary to be a current resident on one of the islands, say those behind the petition. We believe that it is up to islanders to decide, and that now is the time to do so. A bit contradictoray don't you think lol
  19. People have been faking coins for centuries.
  20. So coin arrived today wrapped in a plastic bag wich was then wrapped in tin foil. This is a million pound plus company?
  21. She simply should'nt be doing two jobs if she can't handle the questions and at least be polite in her reply. She told me Friday she'd get back to me with the tracking but nothing came and thats why i had to ask again, if she'd done the job she said she was going to do Friday i would have had no need to bother her again
  22. Yup you are correct Peter, customer Service is important if a seller/dealer or auction house want repeat business, but i'm finding this woman Rather obnoxious if you ask more than 1 question
  23. So as i was saying, i'd paid for my lot on the 4th March and by last Thursday 12th March i'd still not heard if it had been posted nor had it arrived to me, so i sent an email to Semra Cetin and asked if it had been posted yet. A fairly quick reply came on the Friday with the response that she''lol email again the same day with the Tracking number, so after waiting on the Friday for the answer and throughout the weekend i decided to AGAIN ask today (Monday 17th March) to ask of it had been posted yet, i replied to her email in which she stated she's get back to me ASAP with the details and politely signed "regards" at the end of the email. I got the quick response (maybe an hour later) with the Tracking number and her rather cheeky REGARDS written in capitals and after checking the Track, it had only been posted on the 12th March, 8 days AFTER i'd paid. What i'd like to know is, WTF is it with this womans attitude to customers, she is as unfriendly as a fart in a spacesuit and really needs bringing down several pegs. The customer Service is shocking and i really don't expect to be waiting 8 days AFTER i've paid for it to be posted. It may well be try first and past time i'll be bidding with them, oh and i'm STILL WAITING on my coin
  24. Hmmmmm,, the written letter to say you are overdrawn costs £11 a pop or something in that region, unless thats changed since i left rip off Britain
