  1. so you see the high grade 1899 in the linked one, worth more then the cost+postage
  2. always worth it, better on the unsorted ones imo, there are plenty, can find a few gems in bulks if you have a good look at the pictures. found one today that went for under a fiver including postage with what looks like an EF 1899 penny in it. few i have bought. a massive box of world containing a few coins worth more then the cost of the whole lot, and no pictures of single coins, just a lot, so yes always worth it, especially as the cost per coin is indeed low. best bet if you want to start is to go for unsorted, you can get some great stuff. in terms of ones showing the entire lot, indeed they are a goldmine. bought a couple today myself, one looks like it contains a bun penny variety i want and as it is a bulk the cost for the lower stuff outweighs the risk few where i have seen the coins I have got a 1901 in EF with lustre, and another with TERTVS error willaim III halfpenny, and these were visable in the pictures, found a holed 1888 4D in one as well. bulk lot found today and speaking of which, this one ended today. oh and my Avatar coin was from a small bulk lot, with only obverse showing best bet are unsorted, or one side only ones for earlier coins or possible rares
  3. i'll give 2p for it >.> ahh yes rarities for the price of a pint is my speciality, if i had that sort of cash i would have the coins i want though.
  4. makes me wonder if an 1878 exisited though. I own the 1879 narrow, got off ebay many moons ago listed with a normal 1879 as 2 types, in your regular clear date with a bit of detail grade, havn't seen any since. still looking for the 77
  5. far too much generalising of fakes to be chinese and modern, nothing wrong with an early fake.
  6. i am still getting pre 1992 pennies and 2p's which are made of copper
  7. why havn't they recalled the copper stuff yet?

  18. cool, i'm guessing they would use similar sized planchets as ceylon and malaya don't like the design though
  19. i found all sorts in the cheap boxes. 1926 ME penny 1860 penny Satin 19 1958 france 50 francs 1728 sixpence (plumes) in fair - that was 25p found the 1879 narrow on ebay, with a normal, even listed as 2 differant which was funny. no one bid either apart from me.
