  1. I just ordered the print version and the epub version.... I'll wait to thumb through the print version but did notice in the epub version a reference to an 1860 F/P HALP penny... That should be 1861..... for the record, but not vital to the book, it exists with both obverse 6 & obverse 7th. Also the display of the epub file on my samsung 3 tablet, 7 inch, when using aldiko reader,is viewed properly only when held horizontally....... looks excellent though and the electonic version will be handy, having it with me... and the hardcopy for permanent reference. ?
  2. I won the open 3... pictures were dark but it looked like it might be a different type open 3 than the example I have... Seller is knowlegeable so I reasonably sure it's the variety listed.. If it's not , it will be going back... if it's the type I have, I'll just resell it or trade it..
  3. An honest ebay seller? http://www.ebay.com/itm/360848914986?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  4. I have been inundated with bank note catalogues over the last year which holds no interest for me, which I never requested, and which must be costing them a tidy sum.. And nary a coin catalogue.
  5. These are the better ones... Somewhere I have a few that are really poor... However, I do not believe that they are exceptionally rare........
  6. I'm going to show some of mine.....
  7. Toothed border...... Reverse D I'm on my cell phone but it looks like an Obverse 2 Reverse D.. an F-10....... Reverses A, B, & C are Round Bead borders
  8. I've informed the seller too....
  9. HI Bob, When it arrives, check for the obverse variety... The HALP variety exists with both Obverse 6 and with Obverse 7... The obverse 6 is the more common of the two.... The obverse 7 is much scarcer.......
  10. Received invoice .... Won the 3 of 5 that I thought I did.......
  11. Looks like I won 3 of 5 that I bid on and was the underbidder on one of those...
  12. Freeman is the definitive work for the Bronze series of Farthings through pennies, although incomplete due to many new discoveries made since its publication... Gouby, for the Bronze pennies, is the most up to date and complete work available for the specialist collector.... I use both in conjunction with each other
  13. Also, What sort of grades are you looking for?? Or is any grade acceptable???
