  1. Looks nicely shilled.
  2. Dave Our Scottie pal from Dundee Off to the Suffolk show in the morning and If I see a Canary my dogs teeth have been sharpened Letting off a bit of anger although North Norfolk is our retirement. Some nice Old boys up there Stalham butchers with hot meat sarnies plus £1.00 pints and hot crab you can.t do any better
  3. 1/-1/-1/-1/- The scum
  4. I hope Mrs Peter does not see this thread The dining room is Dad's coin room as I escape from Eastender's and listen to some Classic and a bit of Punk. I remember in 1977 The Clash came to Bury St Eds and the local press announced couples were fornicating on the floor,,,,on the ceiling would of been much more fun.
  5. BTW it was graded by PCGS and bought from CC I do love it. I've bought a few slabbed farthings from CC who now rest out of plastic and in my FARTHING cabinet (thanks Neil)
  6. The above is my MS 65 Florin I just collect examples Although I fancy the date set for 1893
  7. i paid 50p for my BU Kew gardens 50p Like the dateless 20p coins at one time were £300 and now £30 to mugs. i love the Daily Mail
  8. Recently a 1917 sov was sold by a CGS partner it was so wrong. Plus there is a CGS slabbed 1865 farthing with a MASSIVE edge knock out there. That is dishonest. Nothing but a twat would drill a 1905 shilling and a good repair is fine by me. I wouldn't want the light polishing.
  9. I kid myself I buy to sell but I don't. The last count I had 14 Mitchell fishing reels numerous other makes and over 20 rods. My coins are a habit. i've got loads of 1859 farthings.
  10. The tone is just perfect. A coin like that keeps me ....well just floats my 70ft canal boat.
  11. A coin (From Wild Winds which I got my paws on) I went on a buying thingie and bought about a hundred Roman silvers and about 300 bronze/copper/gold...got the books but not the knowledge.
  12. The 1893 florin is UNC maybe a weak strike I have a PCGS MS 65 of this.Bought from CC. A quality coin The middle coin is spot on. Notice eye wear. The 1901 would not appeal
  13. Paulus stop doing my head in. I've just got down stairs and done a quick swoop of last nights goodies (both daughters and boyfriends on the lash) Nice coins as always.
  14. So besides Freeman and V.R. Court there aren't any other penny surveys of interest? Many in Coin monthlies. Not just 1ds I've retained 100's
  15. One of our members had a 1905 holed 1/- done. I'm Mr Picky but it was brilliant work. I've got a 1798 guinea with a smidge of solder. I will risk this myself.
  16. Dave's soulmate
  17. Another example how this great forum works.
  18. Oh, we must have met some time in the past. Obvously I impressed her. We used to call it TS Elliot the TS obvious.
  19. Ah she is well known in the antiques trade. Under her left breast she has Rob Pearce tattooed but nothing under her right tit.
  20. Rob It was the lady with long dark hair. This should be Daily Mail worthy.....unless Mr Orange pops a couple of "Proper Lizzies" into my coffers. It was on Yesterday channel at 8am this morning....My cornflakes are still being removed from my keyboard. I was waiting for Mr Orange to own up to the replica coin. Now we have a provenance fill up your boots boys. I have started my own black cabinet. Being mainly a copper collector it seems a good idea.
  21. i'm currently watching said show and a young lad bought in a 1562 3d/6d....IT IS A BLOODY PEWTER REPLICA. However The experts valued it at £40 to £60. The lad sold it to the dealer for £40.
