  1. i did have tin, but i did not think that anone would tick it, the same with copper...
  2. does anyone know who owns the 1952 proof penny or the 1954 penny?
  3. the British coin market values 2004 also lists the coins by coin type not monarch...i like that...but still prefer spinks
  4. I just wanted to know what coins everyone here collects... if you have voted for 'other' please say what in this poll...
  5. the British coin market values 2004 is not the best of books, i have got it, but i would say it is more of a book for total beginers, or people who want to get an average price to sell a coin at... i now have the spink coin catalouge 2004 and it is much more detailed and easer to understand...
  6. nope... Yep... i would like to be an accountant when/if i get through uni... hmm...the guinea would be nice...but the only hammered coins i like are noble's, so that is also very tempting...one day, one day!
  7. yes, i am on the mailing list...i am not sure where i can get £100 atm...so i will probably have to skip this offer
  8. i bought that to hang on my bedroom wall...
  9. mayndy has the 3 doesnt it...i have a 1914 threepence with 3 in the middle...
  10. my only maundy coin is a 1914 3d, i want to complete the set with the 1d, 2d, 3d and 4d...does anyone have a 1d, 2d and/or 4d that you would sell too me for less then £50?...i am not saying that i can pay yet, or even ever, but i would like the set ...
  11. This page cannot be found, is it for the pic on your second post? yes that is why i said oops
  12. don't blow it all on coins though when you get it will you? It's a good idea to keep a bit back for a rainy day. (admittedly i'd probably spend it all, but i'm a compulsive buyer). if i get to uni then it will be for that...otherwise i would like to save up for a 1937 proof Edward VIII threepence, or a Cromwell Broad...
  13. no need...i have been left £10,000 from my gran
  14. looks very nice...lucky you...

  16. hmm...the 1956 one seems tempting...i only have £50 to spend atm, but i should be able to get another fifty somewhere...when will the next newsletter be out?
  17. looks tempting, but i am not really into american money...if you could find some nice maundy sets then i would probably buy one of them... the nearest thing i have to a half dollar is a quater of the 1950's...
  18. exactly...some 'psycho' probably could if he wanted!!!
  19. I don't mind showing him a pic of me... This is another reason why i avoid these things. Rest assured i won't be putting one up, ever. yes, me too. also, (no offence to chris) if we do see chris then we may be disapointed because he is not what we expected. i think we should be allowed our privacy in these matters. posting a picture anywhere on the web can be dangerous, and it is possible for othe people to track down people from the photo. i am staying private, as should anyone elce with any brain cells.
