  2. ok, i'll put it this way: i have 2 1953 2+B farthings, one is my toothed one that you have seen, but the other is beaded on both sides, they are both 2+B...

  5. if you insist... strange: if you count the toothes on my farthing as beads then i would say that it is a 2+B type...but, i also have a beaded 1953 one which is also 2+B...how can this be?
  6. Well done chris, i would love to help out, i could help out with 1797 - 1967 pennies, and maybe go a bit out of my league and also try to help in half pennies...after seeing the Dr. Nicholson half pennies on colin cooke's website, half pennies have started to take my fancy...
  7. Chris_Lander, there are 5 diferent types of 1820 sovereign; 1820 Roman I 1820 Small O 1820 1820 short date 1820 large date open 2 ..for the above, they are each around £200 - £300 in Fine... hope this helps

This has been bought up before; why isnt there a forum page where members can put details about themselves for others to see (name, age, occupation etc...)...i think that this may be a good turn for the site so as people have their own little biography for others to see...at the moment, you only know me as Master Jmd, you in theory do not have a clue who i am...i think that this would help the site so other members know who they are 'talking' to, and get a general view of our personalities...so, could we get a page like this?

  15. oh yes, there is also the 1973 EEC 50p, but that cannot be found in circulation anymore, and there is the 1998 25th anniversary of the EU that i have found many of them...
  16. I have one of those NHS 50p's that i found in circulation in 2000/2001, but i have not seen another since, so you may get lucky... I already have all the 'rarer' 50p's apart from this years...
