  8. when will the rotographic site be ready?
  9. amazing, a dealer with no proper collection...
  10. chris, do you have a collection of coins?
  11. did you pass your 11/12+? i passed my 11+ and i am fairly confident that i did well in my yr.9 science and maths, english doesnt bother me...
  12. and we are lucky, not many young collectors like us usualy have a chance of helping in a coin book
  13. the year 6 sats will determin what sets/groups you are in for your new school in year seven...i was absent for them
  14. That's bizarre. My year 9 brother had his sats last week. I thought that everyone took their sat's at the same time. william did hi year 6 sats
  15. that is the same with proof/unc sets, so far the highest i have seen a 1970 proof set sell for is £13, it is valued in spink for £20...
  16. i dont think that you should just base the prices on colins site, i am probably mainly going to use; Ebay, Colin Cooke's site and This site...but i will also look at others...
  17. i see you are very enfusiastic there william, when do we start 'work' anyway?
  18. yes, and it will not only help chris, but help my knowledge of pennies, even though i think maybe proof/uncirculated sets would be easier for me to choose, but that is up to chris...
  19. ok, i'll put it this way: i have 2 1953 2+B farthings, one is my toothed one that you have seen, but the other is beaded on both sides, they are both 2+B...
  20. That's a biiiiiig time range, Master JMD! yes, but that is the pennies that i collect...
  21. i said if you count (use) the teeth as beads...
  22. if you insist... strange: if you count the toothes on my farthing as beads then i would say that it is a 2+B type...but, i also have a beaded 1953 one which is also 2+B...how can this be?
  23. Well done chris, i would love to help out, i could help out with 1797 - 1967 pennies, and maybe go a bit out of my league and also try to help in half pennies...after seeing the Dr. Nicholson half pennies on colin cooke's website, half pennies have started to take my fancy...
  24. Chris_Lander, there are 5 diferent types of 1820 sovereign; 1820 Roman I 1820 Small O 1820 1820 short date 1820 large date open 2 ..for the above, they are each around £200 - £300 in Fine... hope this helps
  25. very interesting, and strange, maybe i should also start to collect farthings... anyway, are there any other diferent types of coins (apart from farthings and pennies from 1954 - 1961) from 1953 - 1967?
