  1. i would not be able to help on this, i am not alowed to use money like that ...
  2. also, would putting the Today's top 10 posters, the Overall top 10 posters and the My last 10 posts pages in one page save space?
  3. i was only stating that i think a 190_ unrecorded crown reading would be nicer to own then a 1953 one
  4. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 The question in hand was; was the folder thingy worth it! just forget i evermentioned the word farthing!!!!!
  5. cant you do something on the site that deletes topics if they have had no reply forover three weeks?...i am sure that would help!
  6. i am not going to buy a scanner for one coin!
  7. i certainly would not pay £350.00 for it, this is mostly because of its age; its only 53 years old, if it was about 100 years old then maybe!
  8. i have no scanner and my library only lets people scan paper
  9. well, would you bid for it at £350.00; NO!!!
  10. it is worn, yes, i do not favour it...it does have about: 20% lustre around the coin's reverce and about 5% on the obverse, the rim has full lustre (well, not like a Bunc coins lustre)...my favourite farthing (not lustreous) is a 1828 one, with all details clearly visable...
  11. the coin would look fabulous (spelling?), but i do think that the rainbow towning has made it look cheapish...
  12. i was wondering when we would see it...looks nice
  13. here is an attempt, but my camera doesnt pick up on the lustre too well:
  14. I think these coins are a waste of niceness:
  15. I am more into pennies, but i thought that i would go for this seeing as it has the 3 crowns that i dont have, and a nice set of 1953 coins...i do not only collect pennies, i also have about 80 lustorious farthings from 1806 onwards, and about 50 lustorious halfpennies... the seller said around 40 of them are unc...
  16. 1912, 1918 and 1919 = some had 'H' 1918 and 1919 = some had 'KN'
  17. I bought this: it cost me £47.25 from ebay, and it is this: Folder containing coin sets for each year to halfcrown for years 1953 to1967 including 3 crowns[15 sets,117 coins].Crowns and many others unc, remainder have been in circulation. would you say it was worth it?
  18. ... looks like it has been through the holocaust ...i would say it would be nice if it was 1756 rather then 1956...but still...i like the blue toning, and i love the toning found on pennies.
  19. probably...
  20. the site also says this: XF - A coin with original lustre, 95% superb, good detail over most of the coin, but may have small imperfections
  21. yes, that is the same with me , but it looks nice(ish)
  22. hehe...i found this: Gurnsey; Denomination GF VF XF UNC Notes 2 New Pence £0.30 $0.50 £0.50 $0.75 £0.60 $0.95 Dated 1971 (windmill)
  23. It looks quite nice, i would pay around £50 - £70 though.
