  2. thats quite a good way of doing it the reason i have all these farthings is because i bought a load of them for £10 off of ebay they are worth atleast £50 though, with a lusterous 1806 farthing

  6. florins changed to 10p's (the big ones), shillings were 5p's...but i was born in 1990, so i do not remember back to 1971

  8. and there cannot be 5 half crowns in a sovereign because: a half crown is (according to your table) 30 pennies...and 30 pennies x 5 = 150 pennies, not 240 pennies... you should see a psychiatrist!
  9. also there cannot be 240 pennies in a sovereign can there? 240 pennies are 20 shillings, and 20 shillings are a pound!!!
  10. umm...yes, follow the yellow half soveeign line and you will find 1/4 half crown and 1/4 crown...

  12. yes... it is more easy to find nice elizabeth coins then nice george VI coins...
  13. it does...go allong the 'yellow' sovereign line and you will see: 1/4 crown and 1/4 half sovereing
  14. oops, here is the correct thing: Quater Guinea = 5 shillings 3 pence (5/3) Half Guinea = 10 shillings 6 pence (10/6)
