  3. If the government decided to make a poll for if we wanted to go to the euro, what would you vote? ...i would vote no, because i would like true british coinage to stay...
  4. if i was a billionaire i would buy the coin section of the british museum, and see what money i had left for better coins...
  5. what is your favourite decimalised coin? mine would have to be the 2p, the reason for this is that i have all of the 2p's from 1980 - 2004 (excluding proofs) in GEF condition with full lustre...
  6. what country does it have on it? (Gurnsey, Jerset etc..)
  7. my 1955 is beaded on both sides, and oli has said that there are no other varieties of QEII farthings...
  8. would keeping the nicer coins i have in capsuals or my coin folder prevent this?
  9. ok, whilst we wait, could you tell me if there are different types of 1954, 1955 and/or 1956 farthings?

  13. it is beaded on the date side, and toothed on the farthing side...
  14. -------- the folder has finally come through, the coins that i can see are unc (or atleast lusterous) are: Farthings: 1953 - 56 all full lustre (BU) Half pennies: none Pennies: 1953, 1962, 1965, 1966 and 1967 Sixpence's: 1953 Shillings: 1953, 1966, 1967 florins: 1953 - 67 (all) Halfcrowns: 1965 - 67 Crowns: all
  15. easy question... How long have you been collecting? i have been collecting for about 7 months, but i only really started to 'properly' collect about 3 months...
  16. and the others will not be worth that much...
  17. that would probably be a George II Half penny...£12 for fine... that makes it a penny, a one penny coin...not worth much...
  18. i do not collect american coins; mostly because it is far easier for me to get English coins, and i do not like the fact that America has no monarche...
  19. get all pennies from 1797 - 1967 including 1933, 1952 and 1954. and i would probably try to complete the oliver cromwell coinage...
  20. i would not want to go to jail and loose my coins
  21. i would kill (not literally) for a 1841 silver proof penny...
