  1. If you take a 1983 pound and compare it to a 2003 pound (both the same design but different effigy), then look at the inscriptions around the side of the coin, they are out of place with each other, i only have one 2003 pound on me, is this meant to be?

  5. What is the value of this coin: 1995 BU full lustre 2Fr. (unsure country), possibly swiss(?)): Obverse: 22 stars go around a woman holding a spear in one hand and a shield with a + (cross) iside it, HELVETIA written below. Reverse: a wreath of leaves circle 2 Fr. 1995, below the wreath is a small E, possibly mintmark (?).

The Coin: 1994 Italy L200 EF/GEF: Obverse: REPUBLIC ITALIANA - writen around someone(?)'s head Reverse: ARMA DEI CARABINIERI - writen above a pot with IR(?) on it, CLXXX and a banner saying NEI SECOLI FEDELE. 1814 L200 1994 - writen below.

First coin: Nederlands - 1969, BU full lustre, 1C (cent?) silver coloured: Obverse: JULIANA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN - writen around the head of JULIANA(?) Reverse: 1969 1C NEDERLAND - writen around a crowned lion(?) shield. Second coin: France - 1968, BU with light toning, 1 Franc, Silver coloured: Obverse: REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE - writen around a woman(?) walking(?) Reverse: LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE 1968 - writen around 18 leaves and 4 berries with 1 FRANC writen above.
  8. I have never thought of it like that...i prefer the 'machiene made' stuff as the errors are far rarer.

I have noticed that this forum has been lacking the 'general talk' for a few months...on coinpeople there is a coins in the news forum (here), why dont we also implement this here...please state why/why not... --- I think that it would benefit this forum and keep the moral up ...so yes, i think that it would be a good idea...
