I would rather do Farthings and Fractions now chris if thats ok ...I can do them in this order: I = Quater Farthings II = Third Farthings III = Half Farthings IV = Farthings ...will you want farthing tokens? (i doubt so)
Does anyone able a bit of sentence restructure there HPJ... Kiss100 does not agree with my taste of music...and yes, that means that i can pick it up where i live

Why are they our (ex) colonial friends? Well, if you can remember, i think it was George V who gave America their 'freedom' from the British rule...as with India, South Africa, Canada, etc...
Hmm...this is ridiculous...and to make things worse we cannot easily get a question to the mint seeing as the RM forum is down... If this is and will be the case for future gold coinage then does this mean that there is a chance that we could be diverted to using the American grading by the mint (PR-69, PR-60, etc...)?
And also it is basicly 'renewing' a piece of coin history...would you prefer an old real peice of 'untampered' coinage or a 'renewed' shiney and off-putting cleaned coin? ...i would cirtainly prefer an 'untampered' piece
Bob, I think that the coins you have are copper Farthings. All of the 'Bronze' series (Farthings, Halfpennies and Pennies) used to be slightly bigger and made of copper rather than bronze, but this was changed in 1860 (i think that England did this because the French had changed their Copper's to Bronze's in 1852).
I currently store my coins in a WHSmith album, and my farthings (now that i have the capsuals (thanks chris)) look a bit out of place, so i will probably move on to trays and then a cabinet...
I think that the predecimal forum should stay as the 'Predecimal forum', the 'Rotographic Forum' would not really sound as nice as 'Predecimal Froum' in my opinion... Also, the banner at the top of every page is annoying...maybe it would make the forum look nicer if it was only on the home page...
