  1. have you posted my capsual and cabinate thingy yet ?
  2. so that i can put the Bmc numbers into my database of my owned coins but now, thanks to chris, i shouldn't need to bother about peck numbers
  3. Not that i am going to, but what are the costs to make a rotographic 'book'?
  4. ok, thanks chris... one other thing; can you tell me the peck numbers for the following farthings and tell me any die varieties if possible: 1918 1920 1931 1933 1935 1937 1941 1942 1943 1945 1946 1947 1948 1949 1950 1950 Proof 1951 1951 Proof 1952 1953 1A 1953 1B 1953 2B 1954 1955 1956 ...sorry if it is a bit much to ask
  5. On colin cooke's site, he lists obverse 1 and 2 for 1773 farthings...what are these different obverse types?
  6. if you were born before 1947 then you can do this, otherwise you would only have cupro-nickel
  7. i would say 1837 ...anything under 200 years old is modern in my opinion, anything over 800 years is old in my opinion
  8. oh, sorry, i was reading what the dealer had in stock...
  9. probably because it has a 'cabinate pedigery' and it is quite old
  10. i still have enough b'day money for a peck...colin cooke has 2 for sale...
  11. George III Book Frontcover Idea
  12. to be honest i do not have 'decent software' i designed this one with powerpoint and microsoft paint believe it or not!
  13. Ok, ive had another jiggle with it and came out with this, but i wasn't sure if to brighten or darken the coin in the background...anyway its brightened a bit... Is there much point in doing Collectors George III coins aswell as covering george III in Collectors Coins Great Britain?
  14. hmm...what would be better, save up for a peck or buy a freeman?
  15. hmm...ok... Example Cover Design 2
  16. Still an easy lifestyle... what would you prefer, shoveling coal all day or self-employed coin dealing? (my cheque is on its way )
  17. The older the coin the lower the grade for beauty ...ie: i would hate to have a BU 1700 farthing, i would prefer the 'older look'
  18. yes, me too, thats why i strictly go for BU's
  19. Easy lifestyle...
  20. I have a Charles II farthing chris (here) ...and yes, i know it would be an 'enormous' task, but yes, i would be glad to learn more about his coinage and at the same time help rotographic
  21. I use 'N' as a grade better than 'A' so NVF is slightly better conditioned then AVF. I also put Gem UNC before BU to use as NBU
