  1. so it will probably have a mintage of far less then 10,000 to be classed as ext. rare?
  2. i would just like to know; What is so 'Extremely Rare' about the 1953 2+A farthing?
  3. hi Tim, welcome to the forum
  4. i did mean on the same lines of sylvestre; i didnt know what to put! ...now, can every body just shut up...then i will be happy
  5. Im sorry...i have said sorry, and i am saying it again...no need for PM
  6. wow, well done chris...i would wait for a couple of years (so the price rises!)
  7. Oh, that's what he means... Is that what you mean Jmd? yes, basicly
  8. Not Australian. They didn't begin issuing coins until 1910. i said austrailian ect... meaning austrailia, south africa, and so on
  9. Thanks sylvester
  10. yes, but that is what i am trying to do atm, but there isnt really much to buy at the moment...do you know of any other 'Major' coin sites such as predecimal.com or colincooke.com?
  11. hmm...i think that i still will buy, it would just be a treat for my collection ...But if not then i will probably save up a bit so as i can get an Unc 1926 ME penny...
  12. Sincerely doubt it, but if one ever comes up (such as the one that mark rasmussen sold) then i will probably try my very best to buy it...(not to be a bit greedy, but I now want ALL pennies from 1902 - 1970 proof including 1933, 1937 Edward, 1952 and 1954...it might be a little tricky though )
  13. oh, sorry, i read chris' with out looking at your post...you will now have 2 of theese on your database... I am still on the lookout for all kind of wierd and wonderful coins
  14. Yes, i do, but i meant bastard as a git or a true idiot...
  15. Also: Colin adams sold a 1937 Uniface Edward VIII penny in 2003, this penny is not listed in your book...go to spink.com, go to catalouge archieve, go to the colin adams collection, and go to page 24
  16. I'd make a huge loss, because I'd be temporarily stuck with another 10 BU 1950 Pennies! For a BU, with full Lustre 1950 Penny, £40 is full cat, but very fair. The things I do for my customers, and what thanks do I get...Gar Nicht! ...if i was to walk into a shop and enquire about some sweets, i do not expect to get blamed as-such for not buying...
  17. hmm...how much profit would you make ...£40 is a bit much for me atm, i do have £70, but i would like a 1951 BU penny first...
  18. Hmmmm, I have an EF 1950 with just the absolute very last smallest bit of lustre if I remember rightly. I have a proof 1937 Penny, It's £190 but comes with all the other 14 proof coins from the 1937 Proof set and the case of issue! i have a 1937 proof...and i do not want an EF example of the very scarce 1951 penny ..would you be able to get the coins that i stated above?
  19. Anyway, getting back to topic; Chris, these are not listed on your coins for sale area, but do you have one of the following that you would sell: 1) 1950 proof penny FDC 2) 1951 proof penny FDC 3) 1950 penny BU 4) 1951 penny BU 5) 1939 penny BU ... I have still not made up my mind up on what to buy
  20. No! Enforsed registration would just not do... When i am posting from school/friends house, i do not want to log in because otherwise it does not clear the cookies from my computer, and leaves me logged out...Guests post all the time, but there are not many guests that post more then twice...
  21. It could be a medal (Ask Geoff ), or it could be austrailian etc...
  22. Yes, very humiliating on oli's part ...but i must admit that i didnt know that either
