Yes it certainly will. The old printers let me down with CCGB2005...I did ask for at least a 150gsm cover, but got something about 90gsm! The cover of Roman Silver is 220gsm, and the pages are 100gsm! The cover is also laminated (properly) and the print is very crisp on the cover and within. I simply can't wait to see CCGB2006 looking like this. Such great quality.

The cover is stiff, the pages are thicker and it's an all round better job (a new printer has been given the task this time). It's tempting to add everything you find, I know. Some varieties are rare and difficult to explain without images. Overdates are easy to explain, so they can go in if they definitely exist. As for the values, if no one knows about them then surely they would be sold for the same as the normal type?

Could anyone help me with this question: How much 60 pences in 1936 would be worth nowdays? 60 pences was the price of the first penguin paperbacks sold when the company was lauched in 1936. I wonder what was the price of a pint of milk or some essential food in 1936? Thanks a lot for your knowledge. 5 Shillings for a paper back in 1936 would have been a hell of a lot of money! Probably something like at least GB£10.00 nowadays, or US$18.00 I would imagine. Are you sure they were that much, they're cheaper now.

If they're mint or near mint then they will be worth more than £50. There are no doubt some rarer serial numbers too, the first and last prefixes usually have a premium, as do replacement notes etc. But basically, if they're tatty, pay them in to your bank account.

I saw on telly once a human powered flying machine with pedals and a professional athlete somewhere very warm, and I seemed to remember his flew it for 72 miles! But I'm not a professional athlete so I'd be happy with a supergran type machine!

The whole bloody city is always overrun with fat Americans and really over zealous Japanese people, so it probably won't even notice! I'll have to make sure my house is free in 2012 so I can rent it out for 3x normal rent money, as it's only 1hr from central London by train.

Finland seems ok now, Pennias before Markka. France KM902.2 has a large C or a small c listed. France KM888b.1 lists now include 1948-50 and 1952. Italy KM188 is still $65 (what should it be?) I've got the 3rd edition 1801-1900 edition, is that the latest?

Yeah it looks a bit mucky to me, and the fields aren't at all prooflike.

So far Worldpay have informed me that they will be refunding some fees that they took in commision after a Nigerian attempted to spend about £10,000 on Coin books! Rightly so I thought, and I had to threaten turning them off and going to the press, but it was nice to know I'll get some money back on my birthday! I remember on my 21st Birthday I got a cheque for £500 from my insurance company that was completely unexpected, as a payment for the inconvenience of my Spitfire being written off! I'd received the payment in full for the car some weeks prior, so that was a nice surprise. And yesterday, the TR7 sailed through its MOT, so that was also good. Although, I will be having it renovated to a presentable standard, and that won't be cheap in the long run! We'll have a barbeque tonight.

I've got the 2006 edition (33rd). So far I find it fine, but I haven't really used it all that much yet. What were the problems you had and I'll try to see if they apply to the 33rd?

I'd better get my finger out and get CCGB2006 completed. I have started, but am slightly more relaxed this year because it already exists in digital form and should (hopefully) just need a whizz through updating prices and adding information here and there. Can forum members please remember to put details of prices paid for coins in the Rotographic price collection database. That would be a big help. I want to expand the decimal section too, so Syl if you get a mo, could you write me something brief about the modern decimal varieties, and if you like perhaps even some kind or rarity scale for them and even the normal dates. I'd also be interested to hear from people about what types of coins they think have gone up in price over the last year. I think perhaps a lot of values will stay the same, certainly for lower grades....So what prices have you gasped at, that you noticed were much dearer than last year? Everyone will get a free one as usual, and hopefully it'll be plain sailing compared to last year.

I think the seller is definitely a kid Geoff, one of the coins is from 1989 and dates before the seller was born, so they are probably about 15 or less. I can't remember your wallpaper at all, you'll probably be pleased to know!

I can vouch for footandankle, he's as honest as the day is long, and no doubt wants to experiment. He's definitely a collector, not a dealer.
