  1. Not to mention the vital importance of capital letters, as in "I helped my uncle jack off a horse"

  2. Surely "twat" only contains four letters?

  3. What are you trying to learn? I'm assuming that the small S below the horse's rear hoof is the Sydney mintmark. Also, the reverse design is noticeably smaller than on the regular London issue: However, this is the first I've heard that there was a Sydney pattern, so there's not much I can add. I assume it's very rare.

  4. Lol... I should "have" (not "of") read your post first..... You're absolutely correct. And I love your example. The only caveat to blaming people entirely is the dreaded spell checker. Text from his neighbor I am so sorry Bob. I've been riddled with guilt and I have to confess. I have been tapping your wife, day and night when you're not around. In fact, more than you. I do not get any at home, but that's no excuse. I can no longer live with the guilt and I hope you will accept my sincerest apology with my promise that it won't happen again. The man, anguished and betrayed, went into his bedroom, grabbed his gun, and without a word, shot his wife and killed her. A few moments later, a second text came in: Damn autocorrect! I meant "wifi", not "wife"

  5. I'm inclined to take this with a pinch of salt. I'm not totally convinced that there's a deliberate design difference between obverse 11 and 12 let alone an additional obverse 11*. A high resolution photograph of a high grade example is essential before we accept this.

  6. Another one gone missing in action. This time a next day tracked delivery. Dropped off at Post Office on Monday but initially too late to be sent on to the Mail Centre that day. Sent to Southampton Mail Centre yesterday, where it's then shown as despatched to the destination Mail Centre (should be South Midlands). But there is no scan in shown. Needless to say, it's not arrived and we're now past 1pm. Royal Mail advised me earlier to contact the sender in the event it hadn't arrived by 1pm, in order that they themselves can initiate compensation enquiries with Royal Mail. So I'll do that. Link to the tracking No here 1806 Bronzed Proof penny. Cost over £500. Frustrating to say the least.
