Yup. Saw a seller the other day with a Rare! Silver! 1953 coronation crown for £669.66/$895. I told him in case it was innocent but it's still there.

I messaged the seller to tell them exactly that. No response, and the listing stands.

Reprint of Collectors' Coins Ireland: 1660 - 2000 ?
wlewisiii replied to wlewisiii's topic in Coin Publications Forum
Ok, that would work, just let me know how you want to be paid for since I'm overseas -
Can also clearly see the 'WRL' on the reverse. Westair Reproductions Ltd, I think. They make replicas for museum gift shops etc and they always have WRL stamped on them.

No print planned for the foreseeable I'm afraid. I should be able to prodive a PDF version for you. -
They’re going to ruin that 100% positive feedback with that 😆

I ordered through that yes, directly from the link on the forum's homepage. Incidentally, I am international, so that sounds like good news to me. Thanks. -

1874H Freeman 66 dies 6+G is my guess; just inside the hole it looks bronze coloured. -
Thanks for that. I just checked and it seems that the posts are now showing new posts first. I must have clicked something I shouldn't have. Thank you.

I know, it's embarrassing that there hasn't been one for so long. Ideally I think I'd like to hand the reigns to someone else to do that and just be the publisher, if you know anyone! -
For me the new posts are at the top, below any ‘sticky’ posts so it must be possible. Or you can always click ‘unread posts’ top right. Jerry

Just out of interest, when is the next Collectors' Coins GB (the pre-decimal one) likely to be coming out? The last one was 2020 ! I know bullion price volatility will be affecting values significantly, but even so, it'd be great to have an updated and revised edition soon!! -
Is there a way to place new posts first on all forums? I have been able to do this on a couple of forums but others begin with the first post and I have to sift through to the last page to read any new posts.

It doesn’t really cover the varieties at all, more to do with the history behind the coinage and details of its manufacture. Michael is still advertising it on his website Michael Coins. For pennies he has a book purely on the Victorian penny series and it’s worth enquiring as to availability, that does cover the varieties. The latest Freeman also covers most significant varieties but not the minutiae. Also possibly out of print, but these do appear occasionally on EBay. Don’t forget that the commoner issues are all still ‘varieties’ and by no means all are easy to find. Jerry

Would anyone have a copy for sale please? Are all the Penny varieties covered? Did Michael write a book which covers only Penny types and die pairings. How much info was added to the 5th edition? The British Bronze Coinage: Pence, Halfpence and Farthings 1860 - 1869 (5th Edition) by Michael Gouby Loose Leaf, 60 Pages, Published 2006 ISBN-10: 0-948855-11-8 / 0948855118 ISBN-13: 978-0-948855-11-5 / 9780948855115 many thanks !

Did you order via: https://coinpublications.com/product/the-bronze-coinage-of-great-britain-freeman/ If so, it'll be reasonably fast. I have a few in Germany that I use to fulfil international orders, as postage is much cheaper from here. The UK warehouse has 2 or 3 left at the moment and I just ordered a small re-print yesterday, so with any luck no one will notice the gap.
