1949threepence Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Just been released. Some very nice coins amongst them.Hitting me personally in the eye is the absolutely fantastic UNC with good lustre 1864 crosslet 4 penny ~ would that could afford it. Absolutely gorgeous coin ~ maybe an opportunity for Accumulator if he hasn't got one. Certainly the best one I've seen for sale, by orders of magnitude.Anyway, whatever your speciality, the catalogue can be seen here Quote
VickySilver Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Ah yes, sadly my type of coin as well...Think I might fight a bit over it, drop out at a crazy price though....That was the star of the show.I notice that the 1917 sov is still on sale! Quote
jaggy Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 One or two coins in there for me. Not as many as I had hoped but there is still Noble and DNW to look forward to. Quote

jaggy Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Also … Lot 2325 ….. does that look like BBittaniar (R over or is it just me? Quote
HistoricCoinage Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I'm grateful their hammered section is poor. Quote
VickySilver Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Uh, IMO 2325 looks like its been cleaned with residue twixt lettering. Don't see "BBITTANIAR" though. Quote
Colin88 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Some very nice coins in there (should have taken the 1917 Sov out really) There's a stunning MS65 02 Low Tide Halfpenny that I might have been tempted on. (Just got back from a 3 day break in Peasemore ..very unlucky with the local walking distance pub...Doesnt open on Mondays, doesnt do food on a Tuesday and only open for 45 minutes on Wednesday night as they were all going to a bonfire night?...this is why I could never live in the country)!
