Welcome to the forum Your Monarch run seems just that, Monarchs without specific denomination, is that your intention, or will you try for a particular series, ie pennies, shilling etc? Quote

Can anyone use Tantalus to display their coins in a grid? As a milled English enthusiast I cast a critical eye over your bottom row. Some nice coins there - I think you should aim to upgrade your George V and William IV, which you could probably do quite cheaply (William farthing, George halfpenny or sixpence) - but you've certainly nailed Victoria and Edward VII ! I'd echo Dave's question - is it simply one coin of any denomination from each reign? I was thinking, what if you went for similar sized coins ? Hammered pennies are about the size of a sixpence or a farthing, so you'd be well placed for that. Just a thought. Quote

I know it probably is heresy to say so but for this reason I would choose a farthing over a noble. Well, at this point anyway.I admit some of those are in bad need of upgrading - just have to be careful with not blowing the budget only to wonder how to pay rent!As for display this grid idea came to mind to enable one to see an entire collection. The software is free with an account, you just upload your coins and the grid starts filling in or you can place them manually. You can also create custom grids to present your collection any way you want.I've been stunned how difficult it is to find early Anglo-Saxon coins. T reverse is especially gorgeous with the lustre gone only from Britannia, giving a kind of 'frosted' look. But it's not nearly $900-gorgeous.
