If anyone has a spare one, I'd love one.

I've virtually given up finding one by the usual routes.

Anything considered- still needing the last of the main 1874 types after all these years is driving me mad.

I have some spare 1874H F69's if some one wants one..

Pity Prax is not about i know he had 2/3 ,maybe one at LCA which will be due to go online.

What i did find suprising is the english grading company have done 7 although only 2 F69.

Good luck .

What sort of grades are they, Pete? Maybe the owners think it worth slabbing low grade F76 but not F69.

This one, which went for £450 hammer at the March 2014 LCA, has to be the bargain of the century. It's probably NVF and is totally issue free.

I chickened out maybe 8 years ago- one in a nice VF went on Ebay for £450....I'm still annoyed.

Mind you, the winning bidder could have left £1000 on it, so who knows......

(Even a rough one would be enough to fill that gap...)

Just be patient. One will turn up at some point.

Take a look at lot No 1994 in the September 2019, LCA. Might be just up your street.

Sorry, should have quoted you so you get an alert. See my post above.

Thanks Mike!

I've asked LC about how to get a bidder number, but from past experience I'm not holding my breath for a reply....

Blake, just make whatever bid you want using this e mail address - info@londoncoins.co.uk - giving all your details: name, address, e mail address. Describe the coin and supply the lot No.

That's what I did on my first bid with LCA. I was automatically given a bidder number at that point (well either immediately, or when I'd won the coin).

Or when you've made your bid, call LCA and speak to Semra Cetin. Ask for acknowledgement, and how you get your bidder number.

Thanks for all the advice chaps.

Bid Number received, bid placed.

Oh thank you Richard.

If I win,  it'll be the best sixteen quid I've ever spent.

What??

Thanks Richard - I was the 'room bidder'...nearly there and in the ball park.

Any more plus premium and i would have had to sleep in the shed.......

Again.

Bad luck Blake. However, it was always going to fetch more than usual, being such a nice, problem free specimen.
