In answer to your question i dont have one or heard of one.

I have just checked a coin news article on Bronze penny flaws and its not mentioned in that either.

To be fair, he thought at the time that it was possibly a die identification mark, only later did evidence of die cracks come to light.

All such dots on British coins are probably due to grit. 

However if you delve into French numismatics, you will find very similar dots which are highly significant.
