I am currently dancing round the flat......... quality for people who can remember.

I was with my nephew in the week who asked me about the Hacienda.

Told him i went when i was seventeen and went home ten years later :lol: :o

The original by Otis Redding is one of my Dad's favourites and it got played a lot at home when I was a kid.

Along with many others, including his real favourites like Pink Floyd, King Crimson and "underground" music as he called it.  

His weirdest old 45 record was "Wet Dream" by Max Romeo, which was not allowed on the radio back in 1969, apparently. Understandable if you ever heard the lyrics :o

Tony wilson was a major partner dead now  .

Also owned factory records which was the main manchester record label at the time :)

Another true story.

I sponsored a kids charity night and had a table with a guest....We got tony wilson.

He was really good company and a really nice guy.

He asked had anyone got any questions.

MY mate said yeah" why have you got so much money and a scruffy bastard" even him and the rest of the table laughed at that one all night RIP.
