PWA 1967 Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I wasnt sure were to put this but a top bloke on the forum. Over the last twelve months os so a forum member has helped me so much with copper pennies and varieties...Bramah etc. Recently i have started to purchase a few Model pennies and again his knowledge has been invaluable. This morning i received a signed and numbered copy of.....Rogers-Toy money in the post a rare book. Not only that it was not expected and he wont accept anything for it. A true gent and thank you.........CHINGFORD . Pete. 6 Quote
secret santa Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Hear, hear - John has helped me with copper varieties in the past and pointed me to a couple of excellent pennies on Ebay. Quote
Peter Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 John sorted my Bramah and Pete I still enjoy looking at my farthing (Freeman) print block. Another forum member was very supportive to me last year when I was at an all time low. mrbadexample Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I did have a bid on one of those model pennies in the Copthorne Pete, lot 221. Outbid as usual but they didn't seem to be so scarce that I wouldn't see another. Some interesting ones there though, I'd quite like one. Quote
PWA 1967 Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 A lot are common and can be picked up cheaply if you only want a couple of examples. Quote
