Now....whose 1919KN penny am I being asked to pay £65 for? I don't mind paying, but I will expect the coin. Quote

"Sorry, I can't remember what I did with it..." Although someone's probably pleased with that win so I couldn't in all conscience do it. I'd be cross if it was me. Quote
Nordle11 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Obliged? No. A cruel and heartless person? Maybe. I'm sure all these errors will get ironed out. Quote

1949threepence Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Dropped out of lot 54 and paid for lots 50 and 86. Lee says they hope to get the lots out next Tuesday 31st May. All now over bar the shouting. Quote
Nonmortuus Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Well I won two lots so that's a couple of nice additions. Quote
mrbadexample Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Curiouser and curiouser. Neil thinks I placed a bid for the 1919KN at £66, and emailed me the information from his server or whatever it is. There were some problems on the site on 17th when bids weren't being recognised, so it might have happened then but every bid I initially placed was for the low estimate, just to give myself the opportunity to rebid. £66 is not an amount I would have bid. Strange, but I need an upgrade so have taken it. 1 Quote

Especially the 161, which is superb - indeed excellent hair detail on both the World War 1 dates, from a time when hair detail was often lacking, due to worn dies in operation, for economy. Quote
